This was our first visit to the island, staying at VCII. Elcibar was our nearest restaurant, we had breakfast, brunch, lunch and evening meals here and they were all excellent. We did venture further afield, trying a number of other restaurants in and around Sal-Rei, but everytime we preferred to go back to Elcibar. They know how Europeans like their food presented and cooked and deliver excellent value for money. A good range of food on the menu and, considering the limited supply of certain food items on the island, they do exceptionaly well. The views of Cabral beach are wonderful and the service is friendly and accomodating, making it an extremely pleasant experience. Some Flemish dishes on the menu are really worth trying out and the local Tuna is to die for! We will be visiting the island again soon and will be beating a path straight to Elcibar, cant wait to see both Els and Bart again and of course not forgetting Max!! J & J
