I must admit that I was left a little wary by the perceived less than warm welcome but in all honesty it was all positives from that point. The Villas are fantastic, the caretakers are fantastic, the view is fantastic and the location is ideal. These Villas are pricey but if you want a taste of the nice life in Tobago this should definitely be one of your options. We'll be back.More

We visited Stonehaven last year and decided to return for another 10-day February break. We had the same villa each time so I can't comment on others but ours was very well equipped and has just about everything you need for a comfortable stay. Some of the fittings are a little tired but the view of the sea from the deck is great and it's a wonderful place to relax.
The grounds are beautifully maintained. The only slight negative from that is that there is a lot of hedge/grass cutting and leaf blowing so some noise from those activities, mainly in the mornings.

My wife and I got married in Tobago seven months ago. We held our reception at Stoneheaven, and also stayed there for three nights with all our wedding party. The location is fantastic, you really could not ask for more. If you are looking for the perfect place for an exotic destination wedding for a small number of people, look no further! We had our reception in one of the villas, and it was just perfect for our number of guests. It had the right balance of intimacy and luxury. The food was spectacular, and everyone very much enjoyed it. So why are we giving it a terrible rating? Here is the reason.
We had one very negative aspect to an otherwise perfect stay. The wedding coordinator (who comes as part of the Stoneheaven wedding package - at a price, of course) contributed considerably to increasing the levels of pre-wedding stress, especially for my wife as well as for many of the guests who openly complained to us about her (we had to explain that we had not actually chosen her!). She was bossing our guests around right from the start, telling people what they could or could not do, to the point that some of our guests openly confronted her - in more than one occasion. Worst of all, she was not attentive to my wife's requests, and made her increasingly more nervous as the days passed. This approach culminated in the morning of the wedding, which was tarnished by several instances of needless friction. My wife's requests were repeatedly ignored by the coordinator, to the point of bringing my wife to tears. Looking back, seven months later, I quite frankly find the coordinator's approach out of order. Her personality is very much ill-suited for the tasks she is called to perform.

Stayed from the 19th-23rd December.
Family consisting of youthful grandparents (me and the wife),three adult children and two mischievous infant grandsons.
Very warm welcome from Lorraine on Reception.
The Villa which we stayed at #1 Scarlet Ibis was so picturesquely situated and very well appointed.
The entertaining area around the private infinity pool was a great 'chill out' area.
Stonehaven is really well situated on the Island.A short walk from the Caribbean Sea,and conveniently located within a 10 minute drive from the Airport,Pigeon Point and Store Bay.
The gardens are lush and well manicured and just a short stroll from the main building housing the restaurant.
The furniture fits in beautifully with the traditional Caribbean feel of the Villa.
The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and the kitchen very well appointed.
Vernette our allocated Maid/Housekeeper was very sweet( coming in for about 4 hours a day).
With young babies she really had her work cut out!
The bathrooms could do with a little updating and the shower units have seen better days,but apart from that everything was perfect.
All the staff were really friendly and helpful (running out with umbrellas to shelter us from the rain when we approached the main building in the middle of a cloud burst !)
Would really recommend this place...can't wait to return !

They can tailor their offerings to your needs. There is just about any product or service you can imagine. Whether a couple or family. For us it was an ideal setting, beautiful and quiet. A car was important to get to the supermarket and beach on our own timing. The unit and its kitchen had everything we needed. I cannot say one negative.
