On a recent business trip to Tobago we had lunch here. I must say, the staff handled this group of about 5 persons with professionalism. There were a few hiccups, but even so, it did not put a damper on the meal. The food was good, desert was great and the view was breathtaking!

Having never been to the Caribbean before, we won a competition (Thank you so much Evening Standard) and found ourselves being flown out to the Island of Tobago and staying at the Villas at Stonehaven. The island itself is the most beautiful place I have ever been to; rife with wildlife, beautiful scenery, wonderful people and excellent Rum. The Villas at Stonehaven are absolute perfection. We found ourselves torn between wanting to go out and explore the Island and not wanting to leave the beautiful villa and that private infinity pool.
The Staff at Stonehaven were exceptionally efficient and solved all of my problem within minutes (eg car hire, where to visit, where the shops are etc.)
I cannot recommend Stonehaven Villas and the island of Tobago enough.
We will be back!

Room tip: We had number 1 at the bottom of the hill.

While staying at Villas at Stonehaven we discovered a book on the side table in which the Villas is listed as one of the world's unique boutique villas. Think infinity pool looking out across the Caribbean. Think perfect weather just a few miles off the coast of Venezuela. Think amazing maid service. And think 5-star quality restaurant on the property.

We stayed in Villa #5 for 6 nights and had a wonderful time. The location in the hills with a spectacular view of the Caribbean sea was breathtaking. The villa was very spacious and well equipped. We went to the grocery store on the first day, stocked the kitchen and cooked in most nights. All the equipment worked fine and when the bbq gas tank was running low they came and filled it right away. Our housekeeper was very efficient and boy was it nice not having to wash those dirty dishes every night!

The bedroom and bathroom were large and there was lots of storage space. My only complaint would be the hard mattress, maybe they need to upgrade to a nicer pillowtop mattress.

We did not eat at the restaurant.

The private infinity pool was well used and I never got tired of the view from the deck. The outdoor living space was great for reading or relaxing when the sun was too hot. Also appreciated the fast free wifi.

A car is necessary for getting around since the villas are not near town.

Overall, I highly recommend the Villas at Stonehaven for a relaxing vacation!

Room tip: Villa #5 was near the top and had a great view of the water.
