We have eaten at The Fish Pot every year since it opened and every year I ask for no peppers to be in the food - I am very allergic to them - and every year I end up hooking them out of the salad which is served after the first course. It would be lovely to have a different menu too as it has remained pretty much the same each year. The service is usally pretty efficient but last week it was very slow indeed and somewhat inefficient. A pity as it was a great place to go when they started up. There are few good restaurants in this area - the alternatives being extremely expensive (and not necessarily that wonderful) - or providing authentic local dishes which can be great but not everyone wants cow heel to eat - this is one of the most popular. The owners have now roofed over the outside terrace which a big improvement and means you don't have to rush inside when it rains!

We were recommended this by the lady from Sheppy's car hire. It did not disappoint. A small but good choice and excellent menu, mainly fresh fish.
Very reasonable. It has become quite popular and with only a few tables you need to book.

We stopped at the Fish Pot for lunch while staying just up the road at The Villas at Stonehaven. The food was reasonably priced, wonderfully prepared (local flavours and ingredients) and unbelievably fresh. As appetizers we had fish chowder, tomatoes and goat cheese, and jerk fish and plantains. For an entree we went for the catch of the day (tuna), which was absolutely perfect. It was a wonderful treat and will be a place to stop for other meals on this and future visits. It is worth a try...

After staying a week in Tobago and passing by this place, we decided to finally go. WOW the food was amazing. What a find, unfortunately we ate here the day before we left and did not get a chance to return. Wish we had gone earlier as we probably would have eaten here everyday.

My wife and I visted the Fish Pot twice or thrice. The owners are Irish / Tobagoan (sp?) and extremely friendly and hospitable. The food was execllent and the owners made us feel at home - chatted with us in to the wee hours of the morning. I would definitely recommend this place to ther tourists. The food was fresh, local and delicious.
