Not a so "excited" hotel. it was clean but low level of furnitures. rooms were small. poor breckfast. it can be considered as in the average.
We were there in the trip from Akureyri to Raykjavik (exactely in the middle)
we had some problems in finding the route to the hotel and we tried to call the hotel number. they did never answer.

Room Tip: Dowload the map of the hotel and send mail to announce at what time you will arrive. they did not answer to our calls.

Simple but correct hotel in a village with nothing to see or to do. 20km away, however you can find seals.
Only 6 rooms. Quite place and quite confortable beds.
Breakfast was very poor. I just recommend it for one night if you have to stop over in the area.

The "hotel" has 6 basic rooms. The best thing is the reception/restorant area, in which you can get free hot drinks as much as you want. The breakfast is basic, but the women owner try to fill up the empty trays.

Clean, quiet and peaceful place. Quite average if you are looking for a luxurious place, but I had found all that I needed. Parking space, comfy beds, clean linen and towels, heater, hairdryer and the possibility of having a tea or a coffee out of breakfast time.
Breakfast is included on the price of the room. The eating area is spacious and if the weather allows you, it is possible to have breakfast in a lovely terrace with views to the fjord.
Breakfast quiet simple: 4 kind of bread, butter, milk, juices, cold meat, boiled eggs, pastries, coffee and tea....enough to have a good start for the day.
Staff was very nice and attentive, check in and out when smoothly.
It is a place well located if you are going on a trip around the road 1 because it is not far from it.
I would be back again without any doubts.

A friend and I are traveling in Iceland and reserved here through booking.com. The hotel was very plain but the receptionist was nice and the small but entirely adequate room looked spotless. However, my friend had the sense to check for bedbugs and we found LOTS of them. I know this can happen to any property and perhaps it's being solved but keep it in mind and at least know how to check and do it. We would have been miserable if we'd slept there! We hadn't put anything on the beds so we packed up and left. We called booking.com and they provided us with excellent service finding us another place in the same town in minutes. As this may have been a one-off fluke I don't want to be overly harsh but I don't want anyone to get bitten and have their suitcases and clothes full of the nasty little bugger either!

Room Tip: Don't sit on the beds or place anything on them until you've checked for bedbugs!
