We booked a room here in advance as we were driving around Iceland and this seemed like a logical place to have a stop over. I wish we hadn't bothered - although the accommodation was fine, the town itself was dead. There was nothing open, we had to rush to the only supermarket before it closed at 4pm just so we could have something for dinner that night.
The room we had was lovely and warm, we had 2 single beds and they bought out an infant cot for our 5 month old baby which was in good condition. There was a small sink in the room with towels, there were 2 large bathrooms down the hall which were clean. There was a shared kitchen/lounge area which again was very clean and warm. There is also free wifi.
We set off very early the next morning as we had a long drive ahead of us so we didn't stay for breakfast.More
