“Great Show in Dalvik”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 30, 2012

We were on a trip at the Draumur in the beginning of august this year.
We saw several humpback whales and a lot of dolphins. It was great so see them so close. It was possible to make a lot of pictures. There was place enough on the boat to get first rang. Fishing on the way back was fun and it was delicious on the barbeque afterwards.
So we could recommend a trip with this company, it is a very special event!

“Terrific Experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 20, 2012

We had a wonderful time on our Arctic Sea Tours whale watching expedition! We enjoyed the intimate experience aboard the lovely wooden boat and the friendly crew. The scenery was breathtaking. We saw porpoise, dolphins, and humpback whales during our trip. What a show they put on! We especially enjoyed the hot cocoa and cookie as well as the fresh caught grilled fish. The expedition was one of the highlights of our trip to Iceland.

“Whale Watching”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 1, 2012

We were on a cruise to Iceland and Norway and wanted to do a smaller boat whale watching trip,so after a lot of research we booked this whale watching trip. We were collected from the port by mini-bus, there were approximately 16 of us. After a 30 minute drive we arrived in Dalvik ready to board our fishing boat. After a quick talk re where life rafts and life jackets were we set off. After approximately 20 minutes we saw a pod of dolphins jumping by the side of the boat. Then we changed direction a little and went nearer the shore and the next minute the captain was pointing out two humpback whales straight ahead of us. We watched them for approximatly 20 minutes just gently in and out of the water when all of sudden there was a huge roar and the whale was completely out of the water and crashed straight down into the water it was amazing. Then to our absolute amazement it did it again and again and again !!!!!!! (unfortunately only got a couple of pics as it happened so quickly) What a day and then to cap it off we stopped on the way back and did a little fishing and I caught a mackerel. We were also served hot chocolate and cookies. When we got back the fish that we had just caught were barbecued for mu husband said it was absolutley delicious. Then it was time to get back into the mini bus and back to the cruise ship in plenty of time. What a day I cannot recommend this trip too much it was one of the most amazing days of my life.

“Definitely a highlight of our trip to Iceland!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 1, 2012

We went on the Whale Watching tour in Dalvik and had a fantastic time. We went with our three young children and extended family, and got to see whales as advertised, and also did some fishing! The highlight was eating our fresh catch after the tour. Since the whales are in the harbour, it didn't take long to spot them and the waves were relatively calm. Although we did not go to the other popular whale watching sites, I would nevertheless highly recommend this trip.

More friendly and personal tour and smaller boats than the more well known Husavik. Very good and recommended.
