We only stayed one night, but we loved this B&B. Our huge room was upstairs with two comfortable beds, large bathroom, and window seat where we could sit and look out to the bay. Bridie is so friendly and eager to please. Like the reviewer before us, we were not able to get out to Skellig Michael because of stormy weather, but Bridie's hospitality and this B&B's lovely location made up for it!

From the tea and muffins Bridie served when we arrived, to the warmth and comfort of their home, to the breathtaking views and sounds of the crashing waves from our room, everything about the Beach Cove B&B was absolutely perfect. Bridie and Jack are generous, kind hosts in the paradise that is Ballinskelligs. We stayed several nights and, even though high seas prevented our hoped-for trip to the Skelligs, we had an extraordinary time exploring Ballinskelligs, Portmagee, and the pre-historic sites of the Ring of Kerry, the Dingle Peninsula, and Valentia Island from our base at the Beach Cove (and having Skelligs Chocolate Company practically next door didn't hurt, either). We cannot recommend the Beach Cove B&B highly enough.

Only stayed for one night but a real gem. Stunning location right on St. Finan's Bay along the Ring of Skellig. We had no problems finding the place and found the road absolutely fine (despite what other reviewers said), in fact we really enjoyed the views on the way. Our room was lovely (i particularly enjoyed the window seat and the fact you could see the sea even sitting in bed) and very comfortable. Bridie was very friendly and helpful both when booking and when I phoned to say we would be a bit later arriving. It was the cheapest place we stayed on our trip and but equally good if not better than quite a few of the other places we stayed including hotels!

We stayed here 2 nights as we made our way around the Ring of Kerry. Bridie was very accommodating and personable. The rooms were nicely decorated and very cozy with a view of the beach! You can hear the ocean as you sleep! The breakfast was very good and the view from the breakfast room with "Johnny Cash" music in the background gave us a great sensation of peace and tranquility during breakfast. Be sure and go for a walk around the place.....it was one of my best memories....the scenery is so beautiful and relaxing! Bridie helped us make a reservation on the boat to visit the Skellig Rocks....it is a MUST SEE....the scenery was incredible and we even saw some seals! The 2 night stay enabled us to really enjoy the coast and countryside of that area which is spectacular and to see the Skellig Rocks and Valencia Island as we worked our way around the Ring. You might have to ask a few people along the way for directions on how to get to this bed and breakfast but it is well worth the effort.....this place is truly a hidden gem in a precious corner of Ireland. We loved it!!

This delightful B&B is beautifully located right next to St. Finian's Bay in Ballinskellig. It is one of the most stunning beach coves in Ireland and well worth a visit.

Bridie makes you very welcome at Beach Cove B&B. The place is comfortable and the view from our window was directly over the cove - quite breathtaking. I have no hesitation in recommending Beach Cove as a great place to stay.

We stayed at the Beach Cove for a couple of night as we made our way round the Ring of Kerry, hoping to make the crossing over to the Skellig Rock to see the puffins.

We chose this B&B due to the picture that advertises it - right next to a beach. When we arrived, we saw that it did indeed sit right next to a small cove overlooking the Skelligs, which we loved.

Bridie who runs the B&B was extremely friendly and kindly enquired about the boat trip for us. She showed us up to our room, which overlooked the beach and you could hear the waves crashing through the window, which is enough to guarrantee a restful sleep.

The room was very clean and nicely decorated & very comfortable. A nice touch was the leaflets about the local area that were provided in the room. Bridie herself is extremely helpful and recommended a couple of good places to eat in Portmagee (The Bridge Bar) and also was able to guide our remaining few days around the Ring of Kerry.

The breakfast was great and overlooked the beach. I was also pleased to see that as a vegetarian, I also had a hearty cooked breakfast & a selection of cereals were also available.

I will definitely be coming back to stay here as it exceeded my expectations of a B&B.

We loved the Beach Cove. Everything about our stay was wonderful. We chose this location as we were hoping for favorable weather to go the Michael Skelling the following day. We had a full day of driving and planned a picnic dinner at the beach this evening. We had more to enjoy than we had imagined. Other than the beautiful surf, we watched local ranchers drive their cattle between fields. As best we could tell there were 4 generations involved in this process. It was very special to watch and a memory that we will treasure.
