We have stayed here twice and loved it each time Genuinely friendly and caring hosts. A beautiful spacious new house with a guest sitting room complete with fridge and microwave. And good cotton bed linen and fluffly white towels and a super shower. Freshly squeezed orange juice to start the delicious breakfast. And the rest of the breakfast was of very high quality. And very near the wonderful beach at Ballinskelligs.

We travelled as a family (2a & 2c) and were lucky enough to get an amazing family room here. The room was huge, with a king size double and 2 full size single beds. The en-suite was wonderful, the shower large and powerful. With a walk in wardrobe, this was everything we needed. The owners make this a warm and welcoming home and we loved being there. The house is beautifully modern but designed around the traditional Irish cottage concept. We will be staying here again. Highly, highly recommended.

I cannot say enough about the experience we had staying here at Seaside B & B. We arrived late in the evening in the off season when there wasn't much at all open. The owners were away and had a friend staying to mind the house but he let us in and called Mary, one of the owners, and she happily arranged for us to stay the night as she'd be arriving late that evening. So accommodating and hospitable!!

The house itself is incredible...like nothing we'd seen on our travels and our bedroom had beautiful views out toward the sea. We awoke the next morning to even MORE beautiful views and strolled just across the road for a sunrise walk on the beach and to the castle and abbey ruins. Mary cooked us an amazing breakfast and gave us lots of information on the area and turned us on to some excellent local musicians (who's CD we purchased later in the day!) We were quite sad to leave, as much because Ballinskelligs is a very special and beautiful community, but also because Mary made us feel as if we'd made a new friend. Staying here was without question a major highlight of our entire trip.
