This lodge is rented from the owners by the local village who also know all about the desert and the animals and vegetation in the area. The whole area is unfenced. The rains this year mean that the desert was covered in bronze grass - which moved like a sea in the valley below the resort - stunning - as are the red dunes in the distance.

Lovely people looked after us - champagne breakfast in the dunes, elephant watching, sunset drive to see the views. Food was great and such super friendly service. Plunge pool per room is a great asset too.

Room tip: All rooms have fantastics views - from the bedroom and the shower too !
