“A Sweet Stop in Wicklow”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 25, 2013

We stopped here during our drive from Dublin to Kilkenny. With a bit of advance planning, we were able to take part in a Chocolate Workshop where my girls learned about the history and different types of chocolate. While the chocolate tasting was fun, they really enjoyed the chance to make their own chocolate bears!

The shop has a cozy cafe where you can enjoy tea, coffee or hot chocolate, as well as chocolates, ice cream or biscuits (which are also made on the premises).

A large playground outside is great for the kids if they have been riding for a long time- or if they just need to run off the sweets before getting back in the car.

Definitely a fun stop for the entire family!

“Decadent chocolate and friendly”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2013 via mobile

Popped in for a quick coffee and spent nearly two hours coffee was great but cakes and chocolate to die for. Spoke to the owner about how the place came to be and who he supplied. Just great to see chocolate is do many great shapes Easter bunnies rugby balls handbags purses to name but a few. It was just pleasant lots of kids in the playground outside but a lovely place to be. Great for a break outside the norm.

“not great!!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 10, 2013

We visited there recently whilst staying in Tullow. We were in Rathwood and called in here as there situated next door to each other pretty much. We found it to be very expensive and not very interesting. Wouldn't recommend it!

“Fun fun fun”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 10, 2013

Myself and my son who is 8 years old went here last saturday. I didnt know what to expect but i need not have worried, it was great, firstly when you enter the cafe the delicious smell of chocolate and coffee hits you along with the warmth of the room, the staff are very pleasant and efficient. We took part in the workshop and got to make a little chocolate bear and take it home :) the workshop was very good, it consisted of a short video explaining how chocolate is made etc and then Louise showed us the various types of chocolates and eggs they make and we got to sample a few chocolates too. it was a great day, well worth it and my son really enjoyed it too.
