This year I have dined in Denmark,France,Belgium,Spain,Germany,Peru,Greece, England, Scotland and Ireland. Knock-out dining in all respects - Flannerys in Ballymote.
Quite simply the best - let the food do the talking. Staying in the region for a few days fishing I ate there 3 times out of 4 nights - they close Mondays ! Here goes duck spring rolls + short rib of beef with Achill scallops, goats cheese and fish n'chips and tian of tiger prawn with crayfish and fillet steak. Fantastic veggies both in range, cooking and presentation together with foraged wild flowers. Simply and absolutely superb. Service, friendliness and value impeccable.
This is standout cooking with the finest of fresh ingredients.
Simply cannot wait to return in July !
