“Lovely”
Reviewed November 15, 2012

My new husband and I had a lovely dinner one Monday night during our honeymoon and it was absolutely lovely. We reserved a day bed at 5:00 PM so we could enjoy the sunset and have a nice cocktail. It was amazing and so relaxing. My husband took some amazing photographs.

We were also able to change our dinner reservation from 7:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and had a wonderful dinner while enjoying the water lapping below. Food was great as were the cocktails and bottle of wine. Service was also excellent.

“Stunning views, pleasant servers, delicious food”
Reviewed November 14, 2012

We had a pool and bed reserved for 5pm with dinner at 7pm, didn't leave for home until 9pm. This place is not inexpensive but well worth it for the entire experience. There was six of us, we range in age 33-40. Drinks kept coming all evening, views are beautiful. Free wifi too, so I skyped our children at home while we were there. Dinner was under a private roof with sheer curtains on sides. I had the pea soup, then clam dish as my main. I then had lemon tart for dessert. Some had the beef short ribs they were very good as well, and cheesecake for dessert, again very yummy. Our servers were very nice, not pretentious at all. This place is a great place to book your special dinner out while visiting antigua. Cheers

“Simply stunning”
Reviewed November 10, 2012

We visited on our honeymoon while staying at the Cocobay Resort. Had a bottle of champaign on a day bed and watched the sun set before moving into our very private gazebos for dinner. The food was exceptional, especially the Marlin carpaccio and the chocolate souffle. Chef came to talk to us about his Mo-vember efforts before the meal and certainly delivered three courses as impressive as his top lip! Even though we were all inclusive at the hotel, I would still highly recommend the whole Sheer Rocks experience which will cost around £200.

“Paradise (on a plate)”
Reviewed November 4, 2012

We visited Sheer Rocks whilst staying at the adjoining Cocobay Resort. We fancied a change of scenery in order to celebrate a special occasion and upon arrival were not disappointed when seated in a lovely spot just above the waters edge with a view along the beach.

We were greeted courteously and when my notoriously picky daughter could not find anything on the menu that took her fancy, the owner and chef, Alex appeared from the kitchen and went out of his way to take her order for a bespoke dish which she later found to be delicious.

Every aspect of the meal was exquisitely prepared, beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Afterwards, the charming Alex stopped by for a chat and explained from where he sourced his produce.

For the quality of the dining experience we found the cost to be very reasonable and we will definitely return when next in Antigua.
