We stayed 5 nights in the beach front bungalow and were really happy with the location and the room. The view and 10 steps to the beach was amazing.

The breakfast is terrible and we ended up eating at La Veranda which is left up the beach 5 minutes or at Elana's Cafe. This we found annoying by the end as breakfast for 6 days we didn't account for adds up.

The front of house staff are also extremely unhelpful if it is something that they don't deal with on an everyday basis and use the excuse that there is not a manger on site. This we found out as being true after having to speak to a manager on the phone who was in HCMC and couldn't help anyway. Customer obviously service wasn't their thing.

We didn't risk trying dinner here, even though it seems to have one of the best beach dining experiences and was tempting. We ate at Rory's (good if you need a break from straight Vietnamese) & La Veranda (yummy but a bit more pricey).

We think if we stayed at Phu Quoc again we wouldn't book 5 nights in one place again. There seemed to be really great places further up north that look great if you want something a little more secluded but in saying that it was fantastic at night to walk to a different restaurant or drinking spot.

We hired a scooter for three days and explored the island - we found that Sao beach that most places will recommend you to go for the most beautiful beach was just OK. Dirty, small and busy but still nice sand and water. The best beaches we found were up north from long beach - Ganh Dau Beach and Bai Dai Beach.

The internet and power seems to go off regularly which I think is an island problem not just the hotel.

Room Tip: Beach bungalow is the best location - unobstructed beach views. The other rooms are further back and...

We stayed in Arcadia 3days and totally happy. We have a deluxe room. Room is basic and provides all you need. Bed is OK, comfort and big enough for 2 persons. Bathroom is big but water is not strong but still OK.

Beach is just few steps away. Resort provide a free beach towels if you don't have your own. Restaurant is not very good. Breakfast has limited choice. We ordered some cocktails during happy hours but quality is not good.

Reception is very friendly and helpful.

Try your lunch around resort. There are a lot of good local shop around and very yummy. Dinner should be in night market with fresh seafood and affordable price.

We stayed in a beach front bungalow and were very pleased with it as it had a great view. The bathroom was clean and very modern. The pillows smelt a bit sweaty/musty, as did the towels. However we got some laundry done nearby and it came back smelling sweaty too so not sure if it's the water. We were concerned about mosquitoes in the bungalow so burnt some coils and had no problems. The beach is very nice and there were no vendors bothering us, it was also lovely and quiet. The restaurant is awful! My husband had eaten a starter and a main before mine even came out and the food was the worst we have eaten throughout 3 weeks in Vietnam. We didn't see any of the fish BBQ you expect. We found much better places to eat along the beach which were also much cheaper.

Next door to where we are staying at Mai House we thought we would give it a try. The staff were super friendly, the food was ok without being great (definitely not better than Mai House). Nothing to complain about but also nothing to write home about.

I personally not really like this resort. I mean the beach is beautiful and the resort is nice but the service wasn't that good. Restaurant is terrible, I could not believe how little the plates of foods were, and four tiny tiny little bowls of rice was over $6, what in the world!!! I meant common!!! Even the 5 star resort would not charge that much for just rice!
I will never come back to this hotel again!!! Ever...
Sorry but to be honest it not worth the money staying here!!! Location is terrible too!

First, I must say that the resort has nice bungalow and beach view. Breakfast is also decent and staffs are helpful. But those are probably the only good points I can see. To be honest, staying in this resort is the worst experience I've had so far. There is no door to bathroom. Bathroom is small and as I know, there is no bathtub in any other room (when we book, they said there was bathtub). Lots of mosquitoes as well.

On the second day, we went out to do some sightseeing and came back early at 2pm. We found out that our room was filled with men, who were fixing to room. Then the manager, Mr. Thien, appeared and, without any apology, told us to change to another bungalow. The point is that strangers can enter our room without any notice, and with all of our stuff still inside. What "impressed" me the most was the manager's attitude to guests. He said that we can solve it in a peaceful way by let us change the room, if we do not agree, there will be a "less peaceful" way (I thought they might kick us out of the resort?)

I understand the my case is quite accidental, and I must admit that if the resort had different manager, things would not be that terrible. Anyway, there are plenty other nice resorts in the area (Thien Hai Son, Eden, Sai Gon Phu Quoc...) so please consider carefully. If you still decide to choose Arcadia, make sure that you take care of your belongings in the room

My great niece who lives in Ho Chi Minh took myself and her mum for a two day break to this lovely place. We spent the days chilling on the beach and eating at beach restaurants, finishing off with cocktails on the beach. Bliss.

The bungalow was large and comfortable with a huge walk in shower. The only downfall was no door to the bathroom, which can be embarrassing.
