The resort is located in a very quiet area. I felt that I m home when staying there. The owner Mrs. Ha was very friendly to welcome guests. My kids didn't want to eat anything in Saigon but they cleaned the dishes with bread there. So wonderful dishes from meat to seafood. Phu Quoc has mosquito everywhere. Housekeeping spray the room for us everyday. Looking resorts around, this only resort has restaurant very close to the sea. I can enjoy the meal & see the waves up & down with its sound. An ideal stop for your relaxation.

First the manager put 3 of us to a room fit for 2 and poor quality. We objected and she put us to a more decent room later on. The room was ok, had windows facing the cafeteria and close to the ocean, a plus. Manager was nice. But the resort was under renovation so there was dirt and sand and concrete around, not a pleasant view. Lots of mosquitoes in the room. Noise from cafeteria and TV from outside. Not good sleep quality.

Dear Customer, Sorry for this problem. You clearly booked -trough a local reservation agency - for 2 people and one baby - not 3 adults when you arrive- and only for a small room. Then, we find a solution and we upgraded you for a twin bungalow (same price 32 USD breakfast included) and we offer you an additional free breakfast for the third people charging the extra bed 8 USD).

Lots of mosquitoes in the room: during the wet season, we pay particular attention to mosquitoes by using a spray insecticide twice daily in the rooms - which is normally enough for seafront resort - In addition, each bed is equipped with mosquito nets.

Sorry for the visual impact of the maintenance (not renovation) even if it was necessary for the functioning of the resort after an unusual storm-

What can I say?! This place was brilliant. Excellent value for money. After two terrible nights on the island we found this place. Greeted with a warm welcome from the French/Vietnamese lady that runs it with her French husband it has excellent customer service and a great pool. The pool looks fairly recent and there is some extending work going on around the resort. Don't let this put you off. It's not noisy in the slightest and can only make this place better. With what looks like a small pool bar being built and the garden area done out.

The menu for food is extensive with Vietnamese and a very good French menu. Breakfast is included in your room bill and I recommend the Vietnamese pancakes. The owner brings all the French ingredients from France also. So rest assured its genuine.

The staff are super. Always helpful in whatever you may need. Sending postcards organising trips, rides into town, getting massage brought to the hotel for you. The beach front is nice and very private. The swimming pool is great.

Rooms: lovely. Spacious, plenty of hanging space and a settee to sit on. The shower is not a separate cubicle but do not let that put you off. It's the best power shower I've had in Vietnam! Cleaned daily with fresh towels and sheets.

Food: fantastic. Great fish and great service. The staff can't do enough to help and its not because they after your money. It seems the owner has chosen competent staff to run her resort.

Location: ok a bit tricky. It's only drawback. It's situated south of long beach. There are a few bars and restaurants close by but you would need a moped or taxi ride to duong dong centre. Depends if you want drinking action or a quiet time. As with a lot of the beach resorts here in Phu quoc the resort is set down a dirt track as its on the beach front. 5 minute walk to the road. But, if you want something all you need do is ask and the owner will send for it.

Highly recommended for those that want a clean, friendly atmosphere to soak up the sun in Phu quoc. We liked it so much we originally booked for two nights and ended up staying ten!

Have fun :)

in some short words:

staff was rly coreteous and forthcomming.
we were upgraded and got an vip room which was more then we expected. rly comfortable and good equipped.
food was ok, so the prices for it. once we had a wish for a special fish and they arranged to buy and cook it as we wanted.
the pool was just finished when we departed ;( but it looked good.

sea is a bit heavy and the sand area to the water too short, but thats just my opinion and may be its coz of the month. at some time u will see a bit waste in the water coz of the fishermans but i think its only in the morning or afternoon, (not sure atm). should be also happen at other resorts.

fazit: since we just stayed for some days and traveled around to visit other beaches, i rly enjoyed my stay there. the room was perfect to relax and to have some nice hours with ur partner (the view was so nice..), the staff and the owner make u feel comfortable, so it does the ambiente and the privacy u felt coz its a small resort

thx a lot for everything!

Room Tip: VIP ocean view

Do not confuse this with the one advertised as Paris Beach Resort. My daughter, niece and I stayed at this wonderful spot in Aril of 2013. Madame Ha, owner/hostess is a "delight" and with her wonderful staff did all they could to make our stay one we will remember always. The food - delicious and beautifully presented. Their cook(s) are first class. The rooms were roomy, very clean, with mosquito nets over the beds (a "must"). I was a little concerned with the shower as there was only cool water but quickly changed my mind as the humidity is high and the sea tepid. Nothing like a cool shower to freshen one. The atmosphere of the whole place is picturesque with access to the beach - narrow sand strip but enough to relax in sun lounges. A tour to the end of Phu Quoc and a boat ride to outer islands and snorkeling was arranged thru the hotel. Was a wonderful way to see part of the island and local people. If visiting Phu Quoc don't pass up the opportunity to spend time at this wonderful resort with these delightful people. For more on our stay look at review from GisbornePartyof5.

Room Tip: Originally booked a bungalow but moved on arrival to a standard double room as the shower was larger...

We stayed at Paris Beach Resort for three nights and loved it. My two companions shared a bungalow and I had my own room with a small balcony out front. It was just lovely - huge bed, mozzie net, cane furniture, air conditioning, fridge, tv, ensuite with large shower and plenty of storage. We were greeted on arrival with an iced tea by Madame Ha who is a wonderful friendly French/Vietnamese woman who owns the resort with her French husband. We were promptly processed and shown to our rooms before changing and getting straight into the sea which is literally steps from the restaurant! The staff were fantastic, friendly and helpful and the food divine. We had our washing done for a small fee and we had it back the next day. The rooms were quiet and extremely comfortable. Day trips and taxis can be booked at reception. We had a massage on the beach with fresh aloe vera and iced water which was bliss on our sunburn. The pet dogs were gorgeous - especially Roux the French Bulldog, Kiki and the puppy. So friendly and lovable. The Paris Beach Club is right next door and shouldn't be confused with the Paris Beach Resort which is where we stayed. An absolutel gem! Special mention to Hong and Harry, the friendly and helpful reception staff, and Thuan the wonderful chef! I would love to go back one day. PS. They were in the process of building a swimming pool which would be a lovely asset in future.

Room Tip: Bungalow rooms are comfortable and spacious.

My friend and I were picked up at Phu Quoc airport and driven to Paris Beach resort (hotel) and were greeted warmly by the friendly owner, a Vietnamese Lady with a frech accent and the super nice and friendly staff. We had opted for a bungalow each and paid 35 dollars per night, which I find very cheap. My bungalow was equipped with a strong fan and airconditioner, a fridge, two beds, a mosquito net and a nice bathroom. All I needed. I had my own little terrace in front of my door and at the small stairs leading up to my terrace was a great thing: a big bowl of water with a coconut spoon in - for splashing water on your sand covered feet when entering the bungalow. Nice! The hotel is situated right at the beach, which is perfect. The restaurant is very good, with a wide selection of both western (french) dishes and Vietnamese. We did however decide to eat at the Night market in town most nights, which is a 7 minute drive on motorbike away. There is a relaxed and almost family like atmosphere at the Paris Beach Resort and I very quickly felt the defrosting of my danish winter bones taking place. The staff is extremely nice, friendly and hard working! The hotel made everything very easy for us. They arrange a motorbike for you, snorkling trips are made available with pick-up from he hotel - and if you just feel like chilling out at the hotel's beach, you just put everything on the tab and pay when the day is over - or when you leave. There were very few mosquitos at the place - maybe because of all the adorable little geckos. Geckos are cute, never come near humans and they love insects for dinner! The owner of the hotel also has 3 very very cute dogs who look after the guests. So: I recommend Paris Beach Resort from the bottom of my heart.
