Fantastic natural spring, well worth wasting an hour or so soaking in the warm water. If this were in the UK they would have stuck a gate round it and charge £25 for entry, so good to see its free to use with rights for all commoners. Just roll up with a towel and swimming outfit and you're good to go. 2 things to bear in mind; there are no changing rooms so you may need to leave your modesty at home, and you will smell of sulphur for at least two days afterwards.

Wonderful experience to bathe in the warm foaming spring water gushing from the rocks into a series of different pools below the initial waterfalls.
Entirely free to enjoy this delight as is the adjacent parking.

This is the perfect way to spend a day! Lounge in the healing waters and relax. Bring a picnic lunch and wine. Don't forget your towel and a change of clothes. Everyone changes right in the parking lot. Worth a day or two during your Italian vacation.

In spite of what I had previously read, the "cascate del gorello" as some Italians say, is one of the most interesting places I have ever been around the world. At the top of it, you feel warm and cozy in the middle of the winter in Tuscany. And it is completely free of charge. Do you really need any other reasons? ;-)

For the third New Year we are here to enjoy bathing at perfect sulfuric natural thermal springs. They are free of charge and you have parking provided (also free of charge). Since there is no facilities there and you are in the nature, you need to put on a bathing suit either before arriving or at the parking and also to be completely comfortable you should bring old bag (bags are on the ground) to put in the slippers, towels and bathrobe. Bear in mind that the water is very healthy, temperature around 35 C , but smelly so I think that you do not want your best swimsuit to smell like sulfur eg rotten eggs. Cascate are big enough to meet the needs of all interested in, specially after they were extended 2 years ago. Big yes, for everything.
