The dahlias at Anglesey Abbey are amazing again this year. Well worth going just for them which is indeed what we did. Spectacular display of colour, shape and variety. Try not to miss it.

We visited this National Trust premises last weekend and were amazed by the gardens, working water mill and the house. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant very clean and good options of food.

This was my first visit to Anglesey Abbey.
This is one of the most homely NT properties I have ever visited.
I could just move in!
The grounds are beautiful and the current dahlia display is incredible.
So worth a visit.
Excellent cafe on site.
Very knowledgable staff and volunteers.
Well deserved 5 stars.

I visited with a group of friends. We were very impressed by the very helpful lady in the first room of the house. She shone her torch on various clocks and explained the mechanisms. Very good for me as a fellow horologist. Beautiful house which we spent a long time exploring and chatting with guides.
Food not great with a grumpy assistant.
Gardens beautiful, dahlias very much appreciated. Well worth our long drive from Hemel Hempstead via Enfield.
