“A good stop on the way north ”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 10, 2014 via mobile

We had been down on the Kintyre peninsula on our way north via Oban and needed a mid morning coffee and some food. This cafe/ restaurant is well recommended for home made food sourced locally. The egg and bacon on seeded roll is to die for. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great wee place.

“Great food in a remote place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2014

I came upon this lovely cafe whilst travelling from oban to Arisaig and was very impressed with its range of food and the light lunch I had midafternoon when the pub opposite was closed. I had parked in pub carpark before I found out no food on offer and when a delivery van blocked me I went over to see if I could get food from this cafe. You can sit out or in and there is a good range of snacks. What really impressed me were the friendly young staff and the homemade hummus with pitta bread with lovely interesting salads which would put my local cafes in a large t ourist town in the south to shame. It included an interesting beetroot and also cucumber salad with excellent dressings. For the price I had not expected such sophiscated salads. It is very reasonable and of excellent quality. If you can find this cafe on a peninsular off the Oban and Fort William road you are doing well but it is worth it.

“Great product but shocking service.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 3, 2014

We have been many times before and always had a lovely experience. However our most recent visit whilst on a family holiday was very disappointing. The food was delicious however the service was truly terrible and ruined our visit. We tried twice as we can all have a bad day however the second visit was just as bad and we ended up leaving.

“Friendly and tasty”

The ladies at the Crafty Kitchen met our impromptu request for a birthday celebration with kindness and an excellent carrot cake. And the choice of artwork, souvenirs, photos and books is tasteful.

“Fab food”

Great food, service and value, can't fault it. Went for dinner with friends after a week sailing, owners friendly, and nothing was too much trouble.
