Description: Kilmartin Museum Cafe is open every day from 10 - 5 from March to end October and 11 - 4 during November and December. We close from Christmas until the beginning of March each year. The cafe provides lunches, cakes, teas and coffees. Wherever possible, our delicious and wholesome food is prepared on the premises and cooked to order. We cater for special diets on request and there are always vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options on offer. The cafe is on two levels, upstairs in the barn and downstairs in the green oak conservatory with views across Kilmartin Glen. We have wi-fi and daily papers so you can always keep in touch.

Fellow travellers will be intrigued by your comment on the loos - they are quite unusual! Glad you enjoyed your meal in our café - the portions do tend to be generous.

Stopped here yesterday and enjoyed our coffee and cake. We have visited here quite a few times and are never disappointed with the quality of the food and the service from the staff. Lots of choice on menu and the home baking is wonderful.

Gorgeous salads and burgers, with gluten free options. And options to eat outside, or in the conservatory with a view over a lovely garden with a prehistoric cairn below, or in a yurt. Definitely a place to fit lunch in every day you are exploring Kilmartin.

stopped off for a coffee, food is good but the place isn't clean. Well the tables are clean but there are more cobwebs and dirt on the conservatory windows than l have seen. The management need to get to grips with this as it lets down a really nice place.

You are absolutely right - we will need to get our window cleaning act together immediately. Thanks for bringing this to our attention - sometimes we are so busy getting on with the work of running the cafe that we fail to look at what our visitors are seeing.
