“Sea View”
Reviewed October 25, 2016 for a stay in October 2016

This property has a fantastic view of the sea and the bay of Chrysochou. The accommodation is very comfortable with a wonderful roof terrace where the vista is spectacular looking over the bay and Troodos Mt. Easy to access the beaches, restaurants and visitor attractions. There is a shop and restaurants in the village of Neo Chorio. Quiet and peaceful but not far to a marina at Latsi and night life in Polis. Altogether a great place to stay.

“Amazing views and facilities and extra touches”
Reviewed May 25, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Sea Breeze is in a spectacular location with beautiful views of the mediterranean and the Akamas peninsula.
The bungalow is equipped with everything you need and Bruce and Efie were very kind hosts, welcoming us with a bottle of local wine, a plate of deliciously refreshing watermelon and with the added touch of a vase of flowers from their beautiful garden.
The roof terrace is a lovely spot from which to view the sunset, (and sunrise if you are up early!)
We thoroughly recommend it as a base for exploring the Akamas peninsula.

“Peaceful rural bungalow with fabulous view.”
Reviewed May 4, 2016 for a stay in April 2016

Sea Breeze bungalow is in the charming village of Neo Chorion. The bungalow is new and very well equipped, very well looked after with a comfortable bedroom, a stylish modern bathroom, a kitchen area with a cooker and a living room with good views. The bungalow had outside terraces with plants and flowers and magnificent views over the bay towards the Trodos mountains in one direction and the Akamas peninsula in the other.
Efie and Bruce are great hosts, very helpful and informative but also unobtrusive, there if you need them.
There are many walks in the surrounding countryside , a local taverna within walking distance and a handy village shop. If you want a relaxing holiday in a more tradition area within easy reach of the sea but away from the density of hotels on the southern coast then this is a very good place to be. Sitting on the terrace watching the sun setting across the bay is .a memorable experience.
We stayed for a week and wished we were staying longer.

“An excellent place to stay”
Reviewed March 29, 2015 for a stay in March 2015

For walkers it would be hard to better the location of the Sea Breeze Bungalow.
It has wonderful views over the bay and is located at the top end of, what in March, is a quiet village but still with all you would need: the local tavern is definitely the place to go if you are hungry!
The walking is excellent - Bruce and Efie have local guides, maps and advice but your own copies can be obtained free from Polis Tourist Information.
In March (and in April) the countryside is at it's blooming and verdant best, a profusion of wild flowers, especially orchids, line the side of every track. Even the walk to the near abandoned village of Androlikou, along a concrete road, is recommended - not just for flowers but excellent bird watching and the added bonus of a very melodic goat farm.
Slightly further afield is the Avacas Gorge and the Baths of Aphrodite, again great walking.
This location provides at least a good week's worth of walking trails without even having time for the local beaches, ancient history etc.
I would thoroughly recommend it.

A haven tranquility. Breathtaking views of the Chrysochou bay. You can be with the crowd and at the same time choose to retreat to a quieter place of your own choosing. The house is modern, fresh with all one needs for a comfortable holiday thanks to Efi and Bruce who are more than willing to help and guide you! Unforgettable! :)

“Great location with stunning views and handy local facilities”
Reviewed May 23, 2014 for a stay in May 2014

We had a fantastic two week stay at the Sea Breeze bungalow in May. The house is situated in a beautiful peaceful spot with views as stunning as they look on the photographs. The main 'disturbances' are bird song and tinkling goat herds.

Inside the bungalow is well furnished with a good sized bathroom and comfortable king size bed. Many a morning cuppa was enjoyed still in bed looking over those wonderful views. The down side is it makes it hard to get out and explore! The kitchen lounge area is a smaller space but perfectly adequate for two. We like to cook using all the local produce and it was great to have a full cooker with an oven rather than the more usual 2 ring hob. We had some rainy days and the bungalow was still a pleasant place to be with its large windows and comfortable seating. We didn't use the outdoor eating area and roof terrace much as the weather was a bit cool when we were there but we think they'd be great for the hotter weather providing both sun and shade.

We particularly liked that the bungalow was not part of a larger complex. It is an annex to the main house where the owners live, though not directly attached. The rooms are not overlooked in any way and the owners are unobtrusively friendly, like having great neighbours who'll help you out if you need it.

From your door you can walk along the 'street' through beautiful countryside to a small limestone gorge, or in the other direction, up the single track dirt road to Smyges forest picnic area which is the start of a number of good short marked nature trails and a crossroads of tracks for longer walks further in to the wild Akamas peninsula with its forest, native shrubland, birds and lizards.

You don't have a pool but why would you want one when you are only a 5 minute drive downhill from beautiful beaches, both wild and rocky with excellent snorkelling, or more organised with sunbeds and cafes?

From the house it's a 5-10 minute walk to 2 tavernas and a Tardis-like village shop in Neo Chorio village. The tavernas provide classic Greek food in quantities that will defeat you. If the remarkable and very friendly shop fails your needs then there is a large supermarket a 10-15 minute drive away in Polis. There are more tavernas (and smaller supermarkets) in Latchi, 5 minutes drive away, and Polis.

We had a great holiday here and would highly recommend it. We felt it was excellent value and an lovely peaceful base for exploring this north-west corner of Cyprus.
