You absolutely must do this when in Barbados on a Friday night. Such a fun experience an the food is great! We ate at Pat's Place and it was delicious!

Best nights to go Friday and Saturday and meet the rest of the island there. Pretty much a flat rate price for food of B$25 (Around £8.00) for your food, whichever stall you eat at but watch the drink prices as they are artificially high. Great atmosphere all round but be prepared to sit in traffic getting there and leaving

Quality bajun entertainment - rice and peas with fried fish. Yum! It is quite loud and overwhelming with a lot of places to chose from, we went around the back though where they were a bit quieter earlier on in the evening.

The Friday Night Fish fry has a great atmosphere, and a real "buzz" about it, and should definitely be part of your Barbados experience. If you intend to eat here however, choose carefully. We dined at Jazzie & Dora's which was recommended in the Rough Guide, but I have to say, it was rather disappointing. The little cluster of dining establishments only have limited facilities, and for that reason our meal was served in polystyrene boxes, with plastic knives & forks. That I can accept, but my Marlin tasted a bit dry and overcooked, as did the accompanying fries. Sadly a case of over-rated, over-cooked and over-priced. Go for the atmosphere though.

Terrible food, no atmosphere, dreadfully loud banging music, stalls selling rubbish. Had an expensive taxi ride to get there and was very disappointed. Only saving grace was the bus back for 2 bbds dollars each!
