The Beach is gorgeous. Service needs improvement. The beds are TERRIBLE. So uncomfortable. The rooms were kept clean. The property was clean. The food was good. The food was a bit expensive.
The barbecue buffet was excellent. Great value for the price.

Great location nice beach and well maintained with sunset views for great photos; excellent service; nice clean rooms with large bathroom and shower stall. Would like the beach lights out in the night because of the turtles.

Thank you for this really lovely review.

Our beach is a turtle nesting site and as such we did consult with the turtle project regarding our lighting. We have minimised lighting on the beach and all lighting is done to be consistent with their guidelines. We hope you got a chance to see the baby turtles. It is infinitely special.

We also hope to be able to welcome you back to Infinity on the Beach for another great stay.

Recently returned from a 2 week break in Barbados. Had a great room (212) with a clear sea view. Hotel met all our needs and the staff were just great, from the reception through to the ladys that cleaned our room each day. Happy hour is great - you are able to watch the sunset from a great vantage point. Thank you IOTB.

We have returned from a week’s stay at the infinity (travel dates 9th Nov – 16th Nov 2019) and had a fantastic time. The airport ride to the hotel was approx. 20 mins and cost $16 US or $30 bd.

As we checked in about 7ish in the evening there wasn’t a queue at the desk, we were asked for our credit card details in the event of any incidentals. We were also given a drinks voucher for a rum cocktail that could be redeemed anytime during our stay.

Our room was located in the annex over the road. The room itself was very commodious and came with hairdryer, fridge, safe, iron, ironing board, kettle and coffee/sugar as standard. There were several power sockets and plenty of mirrors, there was also a decent closet space and plenty of drawers to store our belongings. The balcony was a decent size that overlooked the pool. The air con worked really well and wasn’t noisy. The shower was perfect with both the water pressure and water temperature being spot on. Housekeeping serviced the room daily and towels were changed every day.
We did struggle with sleep this holiday. Being itinerant we always travel prepared with eye masks and earplugs, but this time the earplugs didn’t work. We were consistently woken by the sounds of cockerels (this started about 3.40 ish), dogs barking, car horns, car alarms and people singing and blaring on the Karaoke till the early hours. The cockerels and chickens stroll the streets quite freely.

The pool outside didn’t get much sun, so we spent most of our time on the beach. Sun beds were plentiful and there wasn’t an issue getting one. The sea was quite calm and there wasn’t any seaweed or stones/shells to stand on.

Happy hour is on 12-1 and 5 -6. The beer make on HH is 246 and works out about £1.30 a bottle and the house gin/vodka on HH works out about £1.80 a glass. There is free water on the bar.

The Hotel was in an ideal location and was a short stroll to the Beach with bars, restaurants and supermarkets on the doorstep. The cheapest place we found on the strip for food was Pronto food and drink which is about a 2 minute walk past the right of the hotel. We paid about $12bd (5.08) for a wrap, $6bd (£2.54) for some large chips $14bd for a burger (£5.93), $14bd (£5.93) for a jacket potatoe, and $19 (£8) for fish, chips and mushy peas. They did 4 bottles of deputy for $10bd (£4.23) and the house gin/vodka was $8bd (£3.38). This place opens at 8am and is the only place on the strip open at this time for breakfast (apart from the hotels). We paid $14bd (£5.93) for a large bacon and egg baguette. The full English breakfast was $23bd (£9.74). Scrambled eggs on toast cost $8bd (£3.38).
The convenience store next to the hotel didn’t have any prices so we tended to use the Dover supermarket which was a few streets up from the Pronto restaurant. Bottled water was quite expensive and the cheapest one we found in the Dover supermarket was $5bd (£2.11).
We ended up at Daddy’s one night for a burger (this is one of the kiosks to the right of the hotel) and we paid about $12bd for the burger. Again they also did special on the deputy beer. We also got cheesy chips from Sand’s dollar café (one of the kiosks to the right of the hotel) and paid $7bd (£2.96). The best cocktails on the strip of from Jan-Franks which is the bar next door to Sharkey’s. All frozen cocktails (strawberry daiquiri/Pina colada/passion fruit) are 2 for $12bd (£5.08) all day every day and we paid $4bd (£1.69) for a banks.

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the price was value for money, the staff were lovely and the location was great (apart from the noise). As our flight wasn’t till 17:30 the front desk let us keep our room on for free until 14:00 which was another added bonus. We will recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

Thank you for this thorough and very excellent review of your stay.

What I love that this most highlights is that there is something in Barbados to suit every taste and budget. You have done an excellent job of detailing tasty affordable dining options and setting the scene for the amount of choice available when you stay on the Gap.

Taxi ride to Infinity on the Beach $30.00, happy hour beer $3.50, a thoroughly enjoyable stay at a value for money hotel with lovely staff and location...priceless.

We hope to see you again very soon.
