My husband and I went to the Masai mara on safari for my husbands 70 th birthday and came here for 4 days to recover
I can only say everything was amazing from our executive suite to the view, the food, the staff, the peace and quiet, amazing service.
Waking up to the view of the ocean and the beach was just incredible
I have already booked to come back on the 12 Jan 2018
It has to be the most beautiful place we have ever visited

We spent an incredible time in Kenya especially because of where we staid. The hotel was really great, the staff very nice and friendly and able to help us organise anything we wanted. A big thank you to the manager who made us discover the country a little deeper than just as a normal tourist. The country has so much to discover and you have to look for it and not stay all day at the beach despite the fact that the white sand beach is absolutely beautiful!!!
The organized safari was also great but we thought we would see more animals.
Everything was perfect and we can only recommend this hotel. Thank you again and see you soon somewhere !

Lovely quiet beach hotel. Our room was simple and clean but had everything we needed including AC and WiFi. The hotel is nicely laid out with lots of different buildings so that it doesn't feel too crowded. The food is very good and the pool and beach area are great for relaxing. Be sure and visit the nearby cave restaurant for dinner one night - a real treat.

Room Tip: We had a standard room which was absolutely fine for us. There are suites available as well but we didn't see inside these.

We arrived at the Pinewood Village after travelling from our Safari on the Masai Mara. I had enjoyed our safari imensly and in truth really did not wish to leave the Masai Mara. So I had already decided I was not going to like the 7 nights we had booked into the hotel. How wrong could I have been ! the place is just fantastic, The Room we stayed in was very nice indeed the bed was comfortable enough for two elderly disabled people as we both slept really well, it was cleaned daily to a very good standard by Mamma Terresa. The food was very nice indeed (we were on a half board basis) Breakfast was a buffet and you could have everything from Toast, Yogourt, Cerial and Fruit to a full cooked breakfast. Lunch we had at the beach restaurant.was always good and reasonably priced. Dinner was a buffet affair each night had a different theme ranging from Continental Roast Night in the reataurant, Beach BBQ, Swahilli night in the restaurant,Indian Curry night in the restaurant and Mongolian live cooking night by the pool this is where you pick all the food you would like and the chefs cook the food in front of you. Because of our age and disabilities the chefs/waiters etc called us Momma & Pappa and each meal they insisted on carrying our plates putting our food on for us and carrying it back to our tables. We have never ever known such kindness that the staff a the Pinewood Village showed us. The beach area was just like a vision of paradise with the beautiful blue Indian Ocean and white sand fringed with the very large Coconut trees, there were plenty of beach beds and unbrellas etc. and the hotel pool was smashing again with plenty of sun beds available. Overall I have to say that we had a wonderfull stay at the Pinewood Village Hotel and without a doubt will return for another stay with them.

Room Tip: Downstairs rooms are better I am told.

This was our fourth or fifth visit to Pinewood and it lived up to expectations. The best customer service we have ever encountered.

Quiet, friendly and outclasses everywhere else on the Kenyan Coast. If you are looking to relax then Pinewood is for you.

Many thanks to Pamela and Mary for looking after us again.

Room Tip: The ground floor suites are worth the upgrade
