We stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed the place........its on the beach, Nicely done rooms ,comfortable beds and if you take sea facing rooms then you have the best sights.
Food in the restaurant is very good and above all the staff of this hotel, especially in restaurant.

      Room tip: Rooms facing sea

This is a small property with no more than 100 rooms, small private beach and pool. We stayed here 5 days on full board. There is a tiny kids playground (with rather rusty equipment), it seems there was an indoor activity area but was not open so I am not able to comment on it. We travelled with our 4 years’ old boy, who probably would have benefited from more children on the premises, but se la vie. We played on the beach when the weather was nice.
Unless one is looking for tranquil place or comes with friends, this place can be a bit boring. There is a pool bar where people tend to gather at night and there is some musical entertainment except on Sundays.
The one restaurant on the premises offers a rather limited buffet, but whatever I tried from it was delicious. The staff is open to cater to specific requests as well.

We went on several excursions around the island so we had a very good time overall, despite coming at the end of the season with frequent showers during the day and night.

Since internet is only available at the pool bar and reception, many rooms which are not in near proximity to ether will not have internet. We were from the lucky ones.

Rooms have different quality and maintenance issues, ours was ok. They all seem to be spacious.
The staff are generally friendly, though they do not appear always authentic. Nevertheless, most of our requests were met promptly. We loved our housekeeping boy Ackbar, very consistent and really good at his job.
My husband was celebrating his birthday, so the staff were super nice in the restaurant organizing a small decoration on our table and a cake with candle for desert.

I would love to come back here with friends with children, there are still places to explore. If you are not too picky this hotel can be a great place to stay.

Enjoyed our stay at Jalsa beach very much, food was varied and of a good standard. I tend to agree with some of the other posters that the place could do with a good makeover, but having said that, it's not that easy when you are open all year round. Some painting was being done while we were there and it didn't go down well with some guests. Staff were great, always went that extra mile to help. One criticism, club coralia!, I'm afraid you can't mix "getting away from it all" with 18 /30'style holidays, just didn't cut it for me. But all in all a thoroughly enjoyable break. Thanks jalsa team, you were great.

My husband organised this holiday as a surprise for my 50th Birthday......what a lucky girl i was!! This hotel was the perfect choice, it was really wonderful!
It is a fairly quiet hotel, perfect for couples, although there were a couple of families with very young children there too. It has its own secluded beach with a lagoon, perfect for dipping in when you feel the need to cool down.
The staff were amazing, friendly, attentive and nothing was too much trouble and were especially attentive to my dietary requirements of gluten free. From day 1 Atish (I think head waiter who was amazing!) ensured I had gluten free cereal, bread and took my daily order of what I would like for lunch and dinner, which was cooked fresh. i can honestly say, the food was amazing! This is the first all inclusive holiday I have had that I felt full the whole time. I usually struggle with finding food I can eat safely. The types of meals i had were - Grilled fish with salad or vegetables with either potatoes or chips, pasta with a tomato sauce, steak with chips and salad, beef burger with salad and much more I can't remember. The fish was absolutely delicious and i'm not a massive fish lover, but this really was!
The all inclusive buffet that my husband ate from, he was delighted with all the food, very fresh and flavoursome with excellent choices which weren't repetitive.
The choice of alcohol was also good! Both white and red wines were good, local beer, cocktails, spirits and a good choice of non alcoholic drinks too.Bottled water is available either at the Restaurant or Bar, you just ask for how many bottles you want.

The hotel rooms are lovely and spacious, has a fridge to keep water or any drinks cool. Could do with a little updating but very comfortable and cleaned everyday. The shower was powerful and nice and hot.

We would definitly come back to Jalsa Beach, thank you very much for making our holiday special!

Hotel is quite isolated and very quiet. Looks out to a lagoon with shallow water for a few hundred metres. Hotel only has 1 bar but never waited long to be served. Only down side is bar closes at 11pm. Unable to even purchase drinks after this time. Food at hotel is pretty good with a good mixture of Indian and international food options. If you can't find something to your taste they will make something to order for you. Danesh in restaurant was very kind and helpful . Hotel is a bit dated
but the staff make up for this. Manisha in bar is so friendly even helping out when wife got stung by wasp. Nice place if you want to relax and unwind. Not for the party animal. There is an animation team in hotel but only cater for French speaking residents. We ended up providing our own entertainment so was not an issue for me. Would I go back. Yes.
