So good the first time we went back and were not disappointed, great for a quiet beach holiday, no fights for sun beds, good food and local beer and spirits as good as UK brands. Rooms large and comfortable with view over the lagoon. Plenty of choice at all meals and if you do not like any of the many choices just ask and they will provide a suitable substitute freshly cooked to suit your taste. Added bonus we met two couples whose company made the holiday even better

Stayed on a three night break after our cruise on an all inclusive basis we found breakfast to be the best choice.

Food choice was very limited and the quality of the drinks poor.

The hotel was isolated and if we ever returned to Mauritius would stay in the Grand Baie area.

We booked thru Makemytrip. Based on reviews we opted for this resort. It was good, clean value for money resort. It is not luxurious and facilities are good not great. We had booked deluxe room. We were given room on ground floor. It really had no view. Rooms on the far side and on 1st/2nd floor may be having better view. Beach is ok not great. They provide indian food. It was also repetetive at times.
Cost was low as copmared to other options but we felt it why it was low during our stay.

North island tour was boaring. Nothing much to see. Other tours were good. We visited flak market on our own by bus. That experience was very good.

Room tip: upper floor and on far side

Hi Guys, The resort is very nice, and they have some exotic suites. I had booked for Super Delux Room but they have freely upgraded me to Moonlight Suite for stay of 5 days which was really generous. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The suite was awesome with everything you can ask for and also its adjacent to beach was most amazing thing. Food quality and buffet is also very good with variety of options. They also provide complimentary water sports which was really enjoying. Overall Its best place to have budgeted luxury and comfortable stay. Surely recommend the same.

Room tip: If you can go for Moonlight Suite as its the best.

Will NOT come again! Where to start?! Cleanliness, -10/10. Food, 2/10. Maintenance of hotel in general, no comments. Whatever breaks, rots, falls apart, gets old, etc. stays as is. My mattress was so overused that it created a huge dip. No money seems to be injected into upgrade or upkeeping of the hotel. Lack of staff, cost cutting I guess? Staff that are here are nice enough and accommodating but are not given the necessary tools/training to do the job to the best of their abilities. Entertainment, BRING EARPLUGS! “Live music” during one of the evening meals was extremely loud and obnoxious. Could not have a conversation with our family over dinner. Had to eat and run out of there. What a waste of practically Rs50,000. Such a shame as the location and land has so much potential. The hotel is in dire need of a complete make over.
