We had a lovely time here. We stayed in a Bay View Villa which was great, although a bit dated.
We found the staff to be on the whole very welcoming, especially Aoy in the Sun & Moon bar, and also the lovely ladies that claened our room daily.
The hotel definatley has the wow factor on arrival.
We found the food at breakfast very average and sometimes cold. The afternoon tea disappointing so for this reason we did not eat at the hotel.
Improvements we found would be to updated the furnishings in the room, improve the food and some of the staff were stony faced.
Other than that we had a lovely time. Our bay view villa was great and very private

Room tip: Bay View room 18 had the sun all day from about 10.30am

This spa resort would be your ideal choice if you are looking for a relaxing stay away from the city. We stayed for 4 nights and had a wonderful experience of detox package. They have highly trained staff in the spa and wide massage and treatments menu. However, the food at the resort can be improved. The views are excellent and rooms are spacious. Hope to come back sometime again....

This is a beautiful property, we had a wonderful stay. Beds and pillows were incredibly comfy. Rooms clean. Ambience was wonderful. The spa was fantastic. The staff was helpful and friendly. The main pool was huge and amazing - although could use a few more chaise lounges for the number of guests. Food at the wellness restaurant and The Restaurant were good. Food at the grill was a bit disappointing. There are also several places in walking distance to eat. This is away from the hustle and bustle - which I appreciate.

Room tip: Choose a room facing the ocean - avoid the low tide bay odor of back facing rooms.

We enjoyed a lovely 4D3N stay - delighted to be given a room upgrade, with a private pool! The infinity pool was a relaxing place to chill, with a great sea view. The tranquil spa's massages were just right for me. The physiotherapist gave us helpful tips and exercises on addressing our posture problems after the complimentary analysis! The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet spread was gorgeous!

Overall a pleasant 3-night stay: incredible spa offering various holistic therapy options, very friendly staff. The beach was somewhat of a disappointment (not quite what was showcased). The hotel looks a bit run down.

Dear Valued Guest,

Thank you very much for your feedback from your recent stay at Amatara Wellness Resort, located at Cape Panwa, Phuket.

On behalf of the team, we are happy to hear that you enjoyed our spa & holistic treatments including our services.
After this high occupancy, we have already scheduled the work for the engineering team to do all maintenance work as much as possible. And for the beach, we're extremely sorry as there're hours that water goes low and hide tide which we already briefed the team to ensure guests're informed when going down to the beach.

Look forward to welcoming you back again in the future.
