“I really enjoyed our meal & the service was terrific!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 8, 2013

I was visiting The Raddisson Resort with my daughter & her partner for my son's wedding. I am very conservative regarding my food choices but tried the recommendations made by the very attentive staff & enjoyed it all very much. I especially enjoyed the prawn biscuit starter!
a beautiful touch was the lovely young lady playing a traditional instrument softly in the background. A lovely experience!

“location location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 8, 2013

probably the best location on cape panwa to sit and have an ice cold beer,25 metres from the sea with a clear view of the islands just off the coast in the distance you can also see the big Buddha sitting up in the hills.very good staff, good choice of well prepared food.if you go ask for the sizzler its quite a spectacle I won't say why it'll spoil the surprise.

“Food really just OK - again”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 3, 2013

I guess things need to be put into perspective at Cape Panwa. There are only a handful of independent Thai restaurants there. Cape Panwa is VERY QUIET when it comes to this. Beautiful accommodations there obviously but that's a different story.
People walking out of their hotels down there seem to appreciate the westernized versions of Thai food - all toned down in spiciness and many with a sweet pinch. it is an often observed trend that the average ratings in areas with little choice are a bit in the high end.

For us this isn't great or even original Thai food and the Sawasdee is no difference. Don't get me wrong, nothing, bad about this place. Very clean and food is Totally okay.

But it certainly isn't a place to drive to when you are located away from Cape Panwa. As a matter of fact if you are mobile, there are plenty of great places to eat in close by Phuket Town.

Now coming,to this place -

“Lunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 3, 2013

Today we headed to lunch at Sawasdee after reading tripadvisor reviews. We were impressed with quality of food. The passing traffic was fine and the sea views were perfect. Pad thai great, fried bananas yum.
