We choose that hotel because it was far away from Patong nightlife and other brothels (let's name it).
Great and very quiet place to enjoy the Adaman see without thousand of youngsters.
Hotel is new (3,5 years), offers everything you can expect from an hotel of this category but the swimming pool area is quite a mess actualy.
The personal working there is more interested by his own confort than the customers one and one day they took an umbrella from the customers side to protect themself instead. Ok I understand it isn't easy for them to work under strong sun but we"re paying customers right?
A problem as well is that there are only around 60 sun chairs for an hotel who has a capacity of nearly 400 people...And we had some days quite a difficulty to find a space. So what it must be in high season!!
The breakfast is super, and offers all you can expect from Radisson but with more here (fruits and juices from many local kinds).
We had a suite and only one night the room was prepared, a little bit not enough according the level ...
Overall a very nice week and a very good stay, but don't know if I'll come back here as the Crowne Plaza is not far away....We'll see!

We had a very relaxing time at a beautiful resort with excellent facilities and a big emphasis on security.
From the moment we arrived, all experiences with the resort staff were extremely positive....very friendly, helpful and efficient. Our deluxe sea view room was bigger than normal (big bathroom and separate toilet), very clean and with a large balcony overlooking the cape.
The resorts presentation and grounds are very beautiful. Their main pool area is very large with many section to cater for everybodies requirements, including pool bar and large day beds. It is not what you would call a true beach resort as swimming is not possible at low tide.....unless you want to walk out a few hundred metres. However, it is very good at high tide, usually in the morning. We didn't use their other pools or sporting facilities, nor did we have a need for the kids facilities. My partner did have a treatment at Talay Spa and, working in that industry, she was very impressed by the treatment received and spa facilities/presentation.
Breakfast was included in our package and the variety/quality is very good. My only poor experience at this resort was their inability to make a decent espresso coffee. We didn't eat at Aqua, but did have an evening meal at Azur, which was our best resort dining experience during our 10 day visit of Thailand. However, we also loved the Thai food across the road at Tree Tops, which is a very friendly and inviting family business offering real value for money eating.
This is definitely the best value for money holiday package deal we have experienced and recommend it.......we wouldn't hesitate returning to this resort.

We had an amazing stay at the resort in May. We were upgraded from a junior suite to a pool villa during our stay. The room itself was large, and nicely appointed. While we did not really use the private pool as it was a little shady, and they had to spray for mosquitoes during our visit. Instead we opted to use the main pool - which was very nice and not at all crowded. I would suggest eating at the resort - our meal at Azur was delicious and we were the only ones in the restaurant. As others have suggested happy hour by the pool where drink are 2 for 1 is a plus. The breakfast was also very good, and had many options. The staff went above and beyond even organizing an elephant tour for us on our way out of town. While the hotel is not in the best area ( as it is isolated from all the main areas) the resort itself is very nice. If you are looking to be in the heart of all the action of phuket this hotel is not for you, but, if you want a relaxing stay away from all the commotion this hotel will not disappoint.

We arrived (my mother, and three children aged 11, 8 and 4) early hours after two flights from New Zealand for a 16 night stay (husband arrived a week later) we were given a refreshing drink on arrival and waited to be checked in to our two interconnecting rooms that I had requested, the travel agent had not informed the hotel of our request (lucky I did have it on my copy of my travel documents) the hotel did not have any of the rooms we had booked left with interconnecting so very kindly gave us an upgrade to a junior suite with connecting room to a deluxe room. We were not disappointed with our choice of resort, I really can not fault it.

The staff were always extremly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome the whole time, especially the breakfast staff. Breakfast was amazing and the selection almost overwhelming, something for everybody.

The pool was just beatiful and always somewhere to lounge by the pool, staff were also friendly and helpful with setting up umbrellas if needed. My two youngest girls used the kids club a couple of times and the staff members in there were always happy to see them and they always came back armed with arts and crafts. The hours of kids club are 9am - 7 pm and we also left the two girls there while we went shopping in Phuket as you can order lunch or dinner from the kids menu.

The Manager was also very friendly and often was seen walking around which is nice to see in a big resort, he really seemed to care about his guests and staff members.

There is a lovely friendly restaurant across the road called Treetops that we used quite a bit as it was nice to get out of the hotel and eat locally, also several nice restaurants a 10 minute walk away down on the waterfront of Panwa Beach. The taxi service across the road were also friendly and easy to use as they have prices to different locations around phuket and will wait for you. We used a driver with a mini van on two different occasions to take us sightseeing around phuket and that was great as we could choose when and where we wanted to go.

We did a day trip to Phi Phi Island on a boat that hadabout 30 people, so was great as a bit more personal than some of the bigger charter boats.

Over all a fantastic 16 night stay, with no complaints at all and we are looking forward to going back to the Raddison next year. Thank you Raddison for a lovely relaxing holiday, we couldnt have asked for anything more.

Room Tip: The rooms over looking the pool are a great location within the resort.

We had been travelling around Thailand for two weeks and I was dying for a bit of luxury and relaxation. We booked the Radisson with high expectations and were not disappointed! It was our anniversary and we were given an upgrade to a sea view room, our room was large with a balcony looking over the sea and it was completely silent at night, I don't think I have ever slept so well! The rain shower was amazing, however the bath could have been a little bit bigger.
The pool area was great with 2-4-1 cocktails between 5 and 6, Tommy, our waiter was such a lovely person, a massive asset to the hotel! The private beach was great but when we checked in the tide was out so we went for a stroll and played with some hermit crabs.
The hotel is far away from the main tourist attractions of Phuket but there is a shuttle bus that runs twice a day from the hotel (which we missed) but you can also get a taxi into town if you want some hustle and bustle!
As we only stayed one night (massive error, we could have stayed for months!) I can't comment on the facilities offered by the hotel but we are already planning our return visit as this hotel is such an amazing place!

First of all, if you want to be near clubs, partying and lots of people, this is NOT this hotel for you. This hotel is for those who want a quiet, peaceful and comfortable place to stay.

I can't say enough good things about this place. It's insanely clean, the grounds are beautiful, you have practically a whole beach to yourself, the rooms are spacious and in great condition. The service is prompt and professional.

We went during the shoulder season so they upgraded our room for free upon our arrival. The ocean-side view is a must. There's nothing quite like getting up first thing in the morning and sitting on your balcony overlooking the ocean. And it's quiet. Really, really quiet. So relaxing just being able to hear the waves tossing, and you've got a good book to enjoy. It's amazing.

This resort is also designed in such a way that even though there may be 100-200 people staying here, you'll still feel like you're the only couple there. It's really private and secluded. But if you are needing to get into town, there are a couple shuttles that run back and forth in between the hotel and town. So it may take a little while, but it's relatively easy to get to and from the retail center of Phuket.

You're in Thailand, so just about everywhere has amazing food, but we didn't feel like we were missing out eating at the hotel. The breakfast buffet isn't included (unless you're a Club Carlson Gold Member), but it's still really nice. Plenty of selection. I'm not sure we ate a single bad meal once the whole time we stayed here. Everything was just delicious. There are 3 different restaurants to choose from, but we usually just enjoyed eating at Aqua so we could sit on the patio overlooking the ocean.

If we ever have the chance to come back to Phuket, I won't stay any place else. The Radisson Blu Phuket was like heaven on earth.

Room Tip: Get a ocean/sea side viewing room!
