Only one year old Zenzibar looks to set excellent standards for the area. Seats on the beach, the sound of the sea, sat under the moon and stars. What more can you ask for!?
Tricky to find. The owner informed me that he has to pay tax to have a road sign which he has done. They should have this soon which will help. Navigate the nature bar and it is next door.
Onto the food after a warm welcome from the manager: Yellow curry crab (best crab I've ever had) for starter for myself my girlfriend and our friend had spring rolls. The crab was delicately spiced and very easy to eat. No tackling crab legs required! Springs rolls crispy wish a fresh filling.
Onto the mains and pepper steak cooked excellently, very tasty. A pad thai and a green curry (one of if not the best of our 3 week trip around Thailand) also brilliant.
The desert menu was requested but only two dishes offered verbally. Shame, this needs some work as we didnt end up ordering anything due to the limited choice but only a minor gripe.
The staff and service was very friendly. The manager particularly so, offering to drive us back to our hotel afterwards!!
Prices of the food are good. About 400 Bhat pp for two courses with drinks.
Please visit and thank you once again to the kind manager for the lift back!
