What an awesome hotel. As they say it all comes down to the service. Georgina , Chris , Ben are really passionate about making your stay special. The staff are well trained and really helpful. Food was great. The infinity pool overlooking the view was a great place to have some drinks and meet some new friends. The rooms have amazing 270 degree views out the sea. Certainly a hotel out of the hustle and bustle of Chewang which is certainly what we were looking for. Car / bike hire is not expensive so getting around the island which is small so easy.
The hotel is a chic and luxurious place , a well thought out overall designed hotel. It was an absolute great experience and made our holiday a real holiday.

Thanks to Georgina for her special attention.

Cheers dean

Dear Dean!

You have only just left and we are all already missing you and Tracey! You were a fabulous couple to have stay with us. Thanks for taking the time to review Code; it really means a lot to me and all the staff here when guests leave us with a huge smile of their faces!

You certainly made the most of all that Koh Samui has to offer and I know you will be back sometime soon!

I will pass all your positive comments onto the team here.
Georgina.

A superclean and friendly hotel with a great view. A bit far from the beach, but the pool area is really nice. You can cool off and enjoy the ocean view while the very friendly staff bring you delicious drinks. The place is very relaxing, and if you want a change, Fishermans village and Chaweng is close enough if you take a cab.

Hi there,

Many thanks for your review of Code. All our guest love sitting around the magnificent blue tiled infinity pool. Complementing the panoramic ocean view out over the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Siam with the islands of Koh Phangan and Koh Tao framed in the distance - It is the ideal location for both exercise and relaxation.

As you mentioned Fisherman’s village and Chaweng are just a cab journey away if you want to have a change of scenery.

Thanks for once again for your review.

Kind Regards,
Georgina Brian

We stayed at the Code because, well, it was the #1 rated hotel on Trip Advisor at the time, ahead even of the Four Seasons (now it is #3, just behind it).

I just looked through the reviews to see what people thought was negative to bring it down, and I can understand that this place is a bit remote, and that staying there for a long time without transportation may not be ideal.

To be fair, I find Koh Samui to be one of the most repulsive places I've ever been in my life, and generally do my best to pass through there as quickly as possible en route to one of the other islands with no airport. The beaches are nice, but the second you leave the beaches it is disgusting, filthy, there is garbage everywhere, and it smells like sewage...the amazing thing to me is how expensive it has become, and people actually seem to think it is a nice holiday destination. Sure, go to Koh Samui, then take the boat to Koh Phangan, and go away from the south side of the island (which is not much better than Koh Samui), and it is cheap and nice.

So, that said, when I had to be there, a place a bit isolated that was nice and clean was appealing, and the Code lived up to it 100%. Room was great, pool was great, staff was great, breakfast was great.

I was a bit disappointed with the restaurant aside from breakfast; the reviews here raved about how great and cheap it was, but I found the menu to be quite uninspiring, and the food nothing special at all. It is true that Koh Samui is now filled with extremely overpriced restaurants with very unimpressive food now, but you can still find pretty decent Asian food for extremely low prices, if you go away from the beach.

Hi there,

Many thanks for your in depth review of Code. It’s a shame that Koh Samui wasn’t for you, although pleased to read that you were happy with all that Code has to offer!

I am surprised by your comments about Vanilla Restaurant as all our guest are very impressed with our menu and the daily specials, but thank you for your compliments on our breakfast…

I am sorry that you weren’t a fan of Koh Samui, but if you are ever passing through again and need a place to stay then come and visit us once more!

Thank you for choosing Code.
Kind Regards,
Georgina Brian

Code is a beautifully appointed, sophisticated, tucked away, gem of a resort.
Located on a hill with spectacular sea views, a stunning pool, and a fantastic restaurant. Code is truly a tropical getaway!
The staff and management are also lovely and absolutely charming. No request is too big, and you really get a sense that you are being well taken care of. Service is always delivered and in a friendly and welcoming manner.
Highly recommended!

I first stayed at code just after it opened was impressed all round. I vowed to return one day and last month finally got around to it. It was everything I remembered with a few added bonuses. The landscapes are now matured and the local area has been developed with the addition of some revamped restaurants and bars along the beach. The restaurant at code has gone up a level food wise, with a menu that is hard to beat for choice and quality. Im already looking forward to visit number three.
