“Best place to stay in Koh Samui”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 20, 2012

I recently spent two nights at the Infinity Residences in Koh Samui and would like to recommend it highly. The Resort sits up on a hill overlooking the bay between Samui and Koh Tao. The view is breathtaking, espcially sunrise and sunset. We had a two floor apartent with a full kitchen, two bedrooms (with separate baths) and a private pool. The room was spotless with all new furniture. The staff is there to make your stay perfect and everyone was incredibly friendly. The restaurant serves food all day. I had the best pad thai of my life one afternoon! If you need to rent a car to get around the island, the hotel will set it up for you to be dropped off and picked up at the hotel. Completely hassle free.

Right from the onset whilst searching for a place to stay in Thailand, the website gave an impression of tranquility which is exactly what we were looking for. We were not disappointed, in fact we were delighted to discover infinity was even better than we anticipated. When our flight was delayed en route to the resort, we received pro active contact from the staff at infinity letting us know they knew our movements and not to worry about our late arrival, they would be fine to pick us up. They even arranged a late night snack in our room on arrival because we were too late for the restaurant. It was this kind of over and above the call of duty service we enjoyed the whole time during our 5 night stay at the resort. Infinity is located on the side of of a mountain, it has incredible views, luxurious rooms, lovely staff everywhere from management to reception, cleaning, spa and especially the restaurant. The food was also fantastic. We would definitely recommend Infinity.

Room Tip: Ask for views of the ocean

My partner and I met a couple of friends here for a three-day weekend escape. The room was fantastic, with modern decor, beautiful windows, and very comfortable furniture. The full kitchen and free items in the mini bar were a great surprise. The infinity pool right outside our patio door was refreshing and beautiful. Watching the fading light from the infinity pool was magical.

The staff were fantastic. They couldn't do enough for us, from meeting us at reception, to picking us up at the bottom of the hill and bringing a bouquet and chocolate to the room for our anniversary. The food at the restaurant was excellent, and since the place has only been open a few months we had it almost entirely to ourselves.

The friendly staff, beautiful rooms, and great experience mean that I would definitely come back. Congratulations on a beautiful new property!

Room Tip: The two bedroom room with a pool was definitely worth the upgrade!

We recently came back from spending a week at the resort and wish we were still there. The staff at the place are first class and enough praise cannot be given. From the woman at the front desk to the people serving us breakfast, everything was done with a smile and really made everyone feel so comfortable. We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa, with a gorgeous view of the sea from the master bedroom and the living room where we lazed most of the time. The gentle sea breeze coming into the apartment along with the occasional dip in the pool turned hours into minutes. The only down side was that getting to the hotel was a little difficult and along with the fact that there was no easy access to a beach. In short we will definitely be going back soon as long as our wallets can afford it.

Room Tip: Room 6L is where we stayed and the view was to die for.

The resort is newly built and so everything was new & shinny. We had the 3 bedroom penthouse which was very tastefully furnished, with large luxurious ensuite bathrooms and private lap pool. The resort is built on a hill slope with unobstructed view of the sea. Therefore you need a car to get around the island as the climb to the resort is steep. The sea is only accessible from the resort by car.
The staff are all very warm and friendly, and they make every effort to ensure that our stay was entirely beautiful. This made the stay in the resort so pleasurable.
There is only one restaurant in the resort, but the food is excellent, and the serving staff are tip top.
Love the apartment very much. Wish it was mine.

Infinity was a very pleasant surprise and a great find. Perched on the side of a mountain on the north of Samui, the hotel provides the lodger with amazing unobstructed views of the clear blue waters of the gulf of Thailand and of the neighboring Koh Phangan island. A group of friends and I decided to rent one of the suites with two rooms and shared living room area and it was more that we could have hoped for. The minibar and wine fridge had a carefully crafted selection of offerings, the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and decorated with vibrant colors, and the common area was decorated in a nice loungy-chic style with Thai elements fused into it. Better yet, the suite had lots of light and the doors in the common area and rooms slide opened allowing the lodger direct access to a private infinity pool and to be refreshed by the nice mountain breezes. The restaurant also deserves a lot of praise. Being somewhat lazy at times, we sometimes ate breakfast or dinner at the restaurant, and between my three friends and I, we managed to try a good portion of the menu. We had no complaints. The food was delicious, fresh, and well presented. Moreover, they had the right balance between western type foods and Thai offerings. Another shining star for Infinity was the service. The staff was polite and courteous and would go out of their way to satisfy our every request. They even provided us with a cell phone so that we could easily contact the hotel and arranged for a bouquet and chocolates and candles to be set up for our friends who happened to be celebrating their year anniversary. In any case, if you are considering going to Koh Samui, Infinity would be a great choice, particularly if your aim is to relax and enjoy beautiful views from a beautiful space with great service. It is not however, a party hotel, if your aim is to have a decadent spring break experience, I would recommend you stay somewhere else in Chaweng.

Room Tip: The suites are fantastic. Two rooms and a shared lounge living room area.

WE stayed at the Infinity Koh Samui, which is a part of the Hotel rental package!. The furniture was extremely comfortable, with a first class, contemporary design. Two bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and extremely clean. The location is next to the lush green jungle, and not once did we have an insect in our condo!. The patio is covered from the sun, with a first class view of the Ocean. Outstanding!. The location is a 20 minute drive from Boh Phut, and the staff at Infinity will happily drive you, for a small fee to any location you desire. John Williams, the operating manager goes above and beyond any resort manager we have ever met, and we have travelled. He will accomodate you with rides, groceries, personal references on the Island and any information you may require. He has a number of friends on the Island, which is helpful when you want to visit another resort, or a great restaurant. his front desk staff will make dinner reservations for you, speaking fluent English and happy to assist you with information to make your stay 'perfect'.The restaurant has the finest, most delicous food, with a variety of items. The staff are very pleasant, they don't speak a lot of English, but can take your order and serve with a pleasant smile! If you want to sleep well, have a quiet vacation, with an unblocked view of the Ocean, I would recommend this resort. The busy, noisy Chaweng Beach is just a short drive away, then come back to your peaceful sleep. The staff will make your holiday!

Room Tip: All rooms have the view of the Ocean. The pillows are a little 'puffy', I like overstuffed p...
