Spg always uses their lobby as the quintessential image of paradise. Not the nicest beach, but great amenities like all you can eat ice cream :) suites are pricey, but there's nothing quite like having a private infinity lap pool.

We did not stay at W but came for a drink.
You are required to pay 600 baht each to enter which goes towards food and drink. We get why they do this and while it would be a surprise for some, it is a good idea to stop lots of people coming in for photo shots only. The panorama view is just amazing, felt on top of the world!
It took a while to catch the attention of a waiter to take our order. We ordered sliders, dessert and cocktails. There was a mix up with our order as dessert came out first. Chocolate brownie very yummy!
We had to catch the attention again of the waiters to ask about our slider order. Finally a very nice man came and explained what had happened which we really appreciated.
Sliders arrived and they were excellent so highly recommend.
When we went to pay the cheque, depending on what you order, there may be extra to pay on top on the entry amount already paid.
Because there was an error with our order we were advised the Manager said we did not have to pay the extra amount plus they gave us a free cold drink. This really helped towards making our experience of W a disappointing one in to a very good one and we thank you for that.
If you want to chill out and relax in a stunning location and enjoy very good food this is the place to go!
Unfortunately I have not given excellent rating because of the waiter service.

Worst place ever! Ad soon as we arrived at the beach, the girl told us, without any kindness, that if we wanted to stay in the beds we had to pay 2000 bath for the whale day (and it was sunset time...).
Then we asked for a fruit shake, with banana, watermelon and coconut.
First she said there was no coconut. So we asked for a fruit shake with banana and watermelon. She said that watermelon was not good mixed with other ingredients.
Accordingly, we asked for a fruit shake with banana and pineapple.
She arrived after 10 minutes with a fruit shake made only with pineapple "because we do not have banana anymore". I would have appreciate to be asked BEFORE about the pineapple shake, not after she had made it, as long as we don't like shakes with only pineapples.
Then we ordered guacamole crispy tortillas. Tasty but 3 pieces of tortillas ONLY. And we spent 550 baht, we almost didn't eat, we drunk something we didn't like, and most important thing, we were treated very bad by the waitress.
NEVER COME BACK FOR SURE
