I tend to go for more of a high end hotel for my holidays- more fool me if this hotel is anything to go by. I was meeting up with a friend who travels around Asia much of the Winter and since she had stayed here before, managed my expectations well.
All the staff are friendly, the rooms are very clean and whilst the shower could not be described as a power shower it was adequate if not always hot (more warm). The hotel garden is constantly tended and has some beautiful flowers and plentiful greenery. Breakfast was ok - cereals, bread, jam etc and eggs cooked to order. One level of the restaurant is under shelter the other on the beach. We tried a variety places to eat in the evening, both nearby and further afield but it has to be said the food in the Florist is super. There was always freshly caught fish- cooked how you like it and paid for by weight.
The hotel owner was charming as were his family who are all involved in the business.
There were a few surprises but no complaints- the towels were worn but soft and clean, the sun beds and umbrellas were heavy and therefore a pain to move, but apart from that all good for me- I! l'll definitely go backMore
