This farmhouse is just absolutely fabulous. We arrived in Malta on a Friday afternoon, and were met in the centre of Nadur by Peter. He took us straight to the farmhouse and gave us quick tour, and gave us a quick guide through some of the best restaurants in Gozo. The kids were in the pool in minutes.
The farmhouse is located just on the edge of Nadur with a westerly facing tarrace (gives great views of the sunset). The pool is quite small, but big enough to keep my 3 kids amuzed all day, and the adults cooled off when needed. The bedrooms are a good size, and unlike some places I have stayed, the beds were very comfortable. The two double beds are both queen size. The bedrooms have air conditioners fitted, which we found very welcome in the heat. You only need them on for a short time to cool the rooms. The kitchen has everything you need and is right beside the dining table. The TV is outdated, but then you don't go on holiday to watch TV all day (loads of channels tho!)
The beaches of San Blas and Ramla are only a 5 minute drive away. There are some fantastic restaurants in Nadur all within easy walking distance, Anthonys and Ta Kenuna are both very good with huge portions yet reasonable prices. The local baker drives past every morning at 8.30am to deliver bread, great for breakfast.
To get the most out of the stay, I would recomend you get a car and explore Gozo. Lots of quaint little villages, all unspoilt by tourism.
I would recommend this farmhouse to anyone intending to visit Gozo. It has everything you need, and is in a great location.
If I ever goto Gozo again, I will definately be staying here.
