My wife and I have just spent a lovely week at this hotel. We found it very well appointed with friendly staff. I think we just had an ordinary room which was a very good size (with an enormous, very comfortable bed!). The front desk staff were most helpful in arranging trips and giving advice on public transport etc, Bar is relaxing with very welcoming staff although with an odd idea of having happy hour at the end of the evening! Pool area is great with an abundant supply of loungers and towels. The food in the restaurants is first class but we only ate once in the Villa which is pricey and the service was extremely slow. The Summer Kitchen has tables round the pool which makes a very pleasant setting in the evening although they seem to get a bit pushed when they have a function on as well. The Rickshaw is superb, excellent food at a good price with first class service.
We would recommend visiting Valletta - a fascinating city, Mdina and Gozo. On he recommendation of the concierge we took a boat trip to Gozo - well worth it.More
