The inn is very well located and provide a splendit viewing over the Alps. By clear weather you can see from the Mont Blanc up to Chamrousse which is a ski ressort above Grenoble and all the Chartreuse mountain.
We stopped there returning from a cross country skiing session between Autrans and Meaudre on a Sunday morning and as the weather was clear decided to make a try for lunch.

We were very dissapointed by discovering the menu. Everything was overpriced by at least 25% compared to the same food in Grenoble and especially the wines.

The food itself is good even if it is very common. The attention paid to you may be improved. I had to wait more than 10 minutes for my coffee as the waiter seems to have forgotten it.

Sorry but we can not recommend you to stop there.

Always such a huge disappointment to visit lovely france and eat at an overpriced bad french restaurant. It goes to prove once again that not all french chefs are perfect. The view is nice but you get terrible sound of the traffic zooming up and down the busy road.
Set lunch menu starts at 15.90 euros (during midweek) and prices for some set menus go up to 62 euros! Green beans were completely overcooked, some type of fish was overcooked in taken over by a sauce that was not appealing. Bits of liver or kidney from who knows what was really overcooked - dared not even try it as I couldn't cut into it! Bread wasn't that great - wasn't fresh. Salad was overtaken by too many chopped onions and a balsamic vinegrette dressing which killed even the taste of the cherry tomatoes. Dessert didn't seem that fresh (raspberry, creme cake) I was so completely disappointed that I just wanted to the bill and leave as quickly as possible. I ordered cheapest meal on the menu and yet the bill was still a shocker as they had the nerve to charge for small Badoit water 4.50 euros! I left feeling incredibly disappointed, overcharged and insulted for being ripped off for such a bad meal.
