The Blue Restaurant is not actually in Didim/Altinkum but in Yesilkent a predominantly Turkish Holiday area a 10 minute Dolmus ride away from Didim (dolmus every ten minutes off the main Attaturk Boulevard. Yesilkent itself has a couple of beaches and the restaurant with sea views is set back from Yesilkent Sitesi's beach.

We have been patrons of "The Blue" for ten years having a villa in the Yesilkent area and have always enjoyed the atmosphere, service and food. We've never had anything like a bad meal here and always come away full and relaxed. The food is English/Turkish and aimed predominantly at the British market, portions are generous, well cooked and always tasty. This is not your typical Altnkum Beach Bar by any means and the atmosphere is always relaxed and respectful.

Equally satisfying for Lunch or Dinner my favourite meal this time round was a Blue Kebab (oven roasted aubergine with lamb, tomato, onions and spices) it was delicious although I enjoyed our visits whatever thetime of day.

I'm surprised their are so few reviews of the The Blue Restaurant on trip advisor as they have many repeat customers.

We visited the blue restaurant on numerous occasions during our stay and were never disappointed. We had both breakfast and evening meals there. The food was fresh and delicious, we had anything from the fish, chicken and lamb chops. A dish called Chicken Ottoman was a favourite of ours. We would definitely return if we visit the area again and we urge everyone to try it for themselves.
Staff very friendly and polite. We felt extremely comfortable and well looked after.

Great food, very friendly, went the extra mile to meet your needs, free wifi. Perhaps a little expensive as no many other restarurants nearby - but worth it.

Visited this restaurant several times whilst on holiday, mainly when we were using the beach but also went twice in the evening, we were quite happy to use the dolmus to get there but they run taxi service if required, food was of a high standard and the staff were excellent, well worth a visit, you will not be disappointed!!
