Didim, the nearest town is built on the site of of the ancient city of Didyma with its ruined Temple of Apollo. It is a small and popular if somewhat down market seaside holiday resort full of Brits walking around badly attired and behaving in a way that clearly shows little respect for the fact that Turkey is a Muslim country.

The yacht club which has a Bar, Resturant, and hotel rooms is badly run and over priced despite, or perhaps because of, the discounts it offers to berth holders.

In the Bar and Restaurant service is shoddy and food unexciting. In the hotel, rooms are large and pleasantly facilitated but housekeeping is downright disgraceful. It was well after 2pm before our room was made up or the previous nights room service remnants removed.

Do not even think of sleeping with the windows open if you want a peaceful night. Despite being some way off in the distant late night music blares away at full pelt until around 4am

We stayed here for 2 nights, prior to a sailing holiday, in a Royal suite which accommodated 2 adults plus 13 year on a rollaway bed - (which was OK). It was very pleasant considering the 'bucket and spade' resort of Altinkum was only minutes away. The room was spacious enough even with the extra bed although at night you can here the music of other hotels across the bay. The yacht club had a boutique hotel feel about it but was relaxed and calm at the same time - we also popped over to the beach club which was very chilled with lovely sunbathing areas all with huge cushions and beds on jetties and steps into shallow sea for swimming. There are a couple of shops and restaurants in the development which we also visited and ate at, that were also very nice.

Room Tip: Royal suites have lovely balconies overlooking the marina.

Despite my reservations last time I stayed, I made a return visit to this hotel for one night in May 2013. The hotel booking site I used indicated there would be tea and coffee facilities but although I informed them of this and specifically requested it they did not materialise. If it really was that difficult to bring me coffee making facilities (I know they have Nespresso machines there), would it be too much to offer a coffee?
Breakfast was included and the Turkish breakfast was good for vegetarians. I also had dinner in the hotel and this was fine although a bit on the dear side for the area.
My room had the usual huge balcony and large seating area. It was clean but did not feel it as the decor was shabby and there was a lot of chipped paint on the walls. It really needs sprucing up to charge the amount it does.
Staff are disinterested and not at all friendly or helpful. Surly, even.
WiFi is good and free. The pool and location are very good.

Room Tip: All room locations are good and on low floors with lift access. Royal suites have extra large balcon...

Went to the restaurant for the Sunday brunch. It's a Help yourself Turkish breakfast with cereals, traditional Turkish breakfast items such as meats, cheese and breads, along with some hot items, and a large select of deserts, Cay and coffee provided and other drinks brought to your table. Lovely to eat a meal sitting by the pool looking over the Marina in the sunshine. Service was good, plates quickly cleared and questions answer with good English. Good value for money.

We have stayed in this hotel 2 times last summer with my friend. It's situated in the Marina of Didim. It's a very peaceful area, like it has a positive energy fountain. We stayed in a room with terrace with sea view. The room was very spacious and the terrace was very large. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The shampoos, creams, soaps has smell of delicious oranges. Very refreshing. The breakfast was very very rich. You have two choise, Turkish and English. We chose Turkish breakfast which includes ham, different kind of cheeses, butter, different kind of jams in little jars, different kind of breads and Turkish pastries, eggs cooked to your choise and unlimited tea. If you want they also serve it to your room. The hotel has a very good restaurant as well. You can find very fresh seafood and delicious mezes. The swimming pool is very clean and if you want to swim in the sea they take you to their beach. The hotel overall is very tastefully furnished. The staff is very helpfull. What can I say more, I would definately stay there again and highly recommend you if you want to visit Didim.

Room Tip: Definately chose a room with sea view.

I stayed 2 nights with 2 rooms and had booked it to impress my elderly parents (being their first visit to Turkey). It may be the classiest hotel in the area but I was expecting a "wow" that unfortunately didn't materialise.

Liked -
Beautiful sunrise and sunset over the moored yachts and the sea.
Small Carrefour supermarket nearby.
Large rooms
Lots of toiletries provided in the bathrooms
Plenty of hanging space.
One of our two rooms had a nice terrace and seating.
Free WiFi.
It would be a lovely place to stay if the weather was hot and you just wanted to chill by the pool.
Large car park.

Disliked -
Difficult to find in the dark with GPS/sat-nav, although I got near. The coordinates I had been given from booking.com were not correct, unfortunately.
No atmosphere in the restaurant.
Unfriendly staff and almost non-existent service in the hotel and restaurant.
Strange breakfast arrangement - such as small hotel does not need a buffet, but the breakfast was fixed. A menu to choose items woudl have been better. We were charged extra for the glasses of orange juice!
We had a Nespresso machine in one room but they charged for each pod used!!!
No kettle in room.
Noisy corridors when guests were arriving and leaving.
We'd have preferred our rooms to be together but they were a long way apart which meant we disturbed other guests.
It is a long way out of town. I was glad to have a hire car.
No help with our bags to/from the room.
Limited vegetarian options on the menu. We ate here on 2 evenings but didn't really enjoy it.
It felt like they were doing us a favour whenever the staff did something - and they did nothing to make us feel welcome.

Overall although the look was classy and facilities were all there, the experience was not one I would want to repeat.

Room Tip: Rooms with balcony are best as they have more light and outdoor seating

We stayed here for 3 nights for my Brother's Wedding. The Hotel was one of the best we have stayed in the World. We have been to LA, Dubai, NY but this was definitely one of our favourites. We had a superior room with a sea view & we had 3 sets of patio doors with a massive balcony. The food was fab & the Wedding was incredible.
The food was beautiful for such a large party & the service was great. Later in the evening we all went to the Beach Club & had cocktails & watched the Sunset over the sea. Very romantic & a great venue for a Weddings but a romantic place for couples too

Room Tip: Pay the extra for the upgrade, think it was about £20 per night but so worth it!
