Lots to see. You'll spend the whole day if you want to see everything. We especially liked the jungle walk and the dolphins show. Lots of different animals and the visit in the car where kids can feed the animals is great. It is a bit expensive 100 eur for a family with 3 kids. Bring your picknick.

We visted Planete Sauvage during our recent holiday and had a fantastic day which exceeded all of our expectations.

We were greeted upon our arrival in English (presumably identified by our number plate) and were provided with an information booklet, in English, which detailed all the animals we'd encounter during our visit. Our son really enjoys reading about places we are visiting so this unexpected information made him very happy.

The parc appeared to be very quiet during our visit (beginning of July) so our drive round the enclosures was relaxed and we were able to spend time observing the animals without being surrounded by other cars. The enclosures are large and the animals were easily visible during our visit, which provided us with a view of some animals that we hadn't experienced before. In particular, seeing a tiger walk less than a metre from our car was amazing. The dolphins in the Cite Marine were incredible and their show was enjoyable to watch.

There is an enclosure where you can walk on a 'rope bridge' above the Macaques - my children thoroughly enjoyed this however I think it's worth noting that if you are afraid of heights or not firm on your feet, the section in the middle is somewhat gulp inducing.

Although the day was expensive, at just over 100 Euros for a family of 5, everyone in the group thoroughly enjoyed the day and we'd say it was well worth the money.

Great way to spend a day. You dried through 10 km of fields spotting all the different animals. Mn come right up to the car window. Lions, tigers, giraffes. There is a great stop half way where baby goats have children around and a good play area. If you have bikes on the back of your car, you need to take them off which is a bit of a pain but understandable. Give yourself plenty of time. 67 euro for 2 adults and a 3 year old. Under 2 are free.

We spent a very happy day out at Planet Sauvage, which you will find just SW of Nantes. It is set in about 10 acres of grounds, where you can drive around to each enclosure to see all the large African/Indian animals, including lions, Tigers, Elephants, Giraffes to name but a few.
The high-light for me was 'The Cite Marine' where you get to see 6 beautiful dolphins do a little show, its done very well and you can see the dolphins really are enjoying themselves. A little word of warning though, you are sat out in the open for about an hour with no cover, so take hats or plenty of sun cream or both if you are going on a hot day. The rest of the day you can meander through the pretty gardens and find the Parcour Jungle, which has high wooden netted walks over the monkey enclosure-some of which are very narrow and also quite steep, so be warned, its for the fit or the adventurous!
There are plenty of place to eat, but also plenty of picnic areas, one by the car park outside the animal trek and there is also one half-way around the trek.
It is not a bad price for a day out at 24 € per adult (cheaper if you book online) Be sure to arrive early for the safari trek as I could imagine it would be quite hectic in the afternoon-and most of the animals are snoozing!

It just feels strange to be in a wonderful savannah type setting but sitting in a traffic jam...In high season cars are just bumper to bumper driving through this wild life park. The animals must suffer from serious pollution.
