We have a great time staying here.
Big flat with lots of space for 10 people to spread out. Lots to do in the area and just across from the green. Lots of shops local and a fab Chipy. The owner Paul is lovely and really helpful.
This is an amazing property ,our group of ten were able fit in with loads of space .Right on the beach front with super views and paul was extremely helpfull ,definatelly recomend
Don't be put off by the entrance as once you're inside the accommodation is spacious and comfortable, the lounge in particular having good views of The Green and the amazing Silloth sunsets. If you've dodgy knees then this would not be for you but we viewed the constant up and down of stairs as good exercise. Well done to the people of Silloth for the wonderfully maintained Green, a great area with lovely floral displays, a wooded playground area, bmx track, water play area and lots of space for running round. Within an hour and under there are loads of areas to visit, we walked at Keswick, mountain biked and walked at Whinlatter, Clip and Climb at Maryport and spent lots of time walking on the prom and beach in Silloth. As everyone says, Silloth is a hidden gem and provided us with a really enjoyable week - even the sun shone every day. Would definitely recommend for families with active kids.
We booked this for 2 families with 4 children aged between 6 months and 10 yrs old. There was loads of space. Lovely large living room. Bedrooms were large enough to accommodate a travel cot. Accommodation has 4 flights of stairs so anyone with mobility issues may struggle. As you enter there is a large cloakroom area. First flight of stairs leads to a bathroom and kitchen, next stairs to the 1st bedroom, lounge and Dining room, 2 stairs up to 3 more bedrooms.
Lovely clean accommodation. Loads to do round about without going in the car, great chippy across the road. The Indian was recommended as is the "fairydust emporium". Coop and spar located within walking distance too. Highly recommended, owner was lovely, nothing too much trouble. Kids loved the crazy ride on his Thomas train through the town.
A very nicely decorated large flat, very close to all amenities. Paul, the owner & his wife are very friendly & helpful. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay.
Great family house, size was amazing, on main road in Silloth you wouldn't know you were on the main road,Lovely view of the green, plenty of lovely wee coffee shops, lovely Chinese in Eden Street,it was a great place to let your teenage children have some Independence, beach near the house, not a sunbathing beach but great for the kids to have fun on, refreshing sea air.My only disappointment was the the local bus service could have been more frequent especially during the summer season, we were able to use the facilities at the nearby caravan site which was charged at a day visitor pass rate.
