Trennerys has been transformed from an average coastal holiday hotel to one of excellence. Accomodation and meals both top class and the staff exceptional. A highlight of Eastern Cape hospitality. Thank you! Jennifer Penrose-Marks -Kingfisher Tours, Kidds Beach

Bring your walking shoes. Long sandy beaches and very good hiking trails. The food is very good. Come and relax!

We booked at Trenneys but were reluctant to go as we read the negative reviews on this site. A friend had gone a few years back and suggested give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised to say the least. The place is a little old and could do with a general face-lift, but I personally feel that the old seaside charm is still very much there. Our rooms were clean and extremely comfortable. Somewhat of a home away from home feeling. The surrounding gardens and swimming pools were well maintained. After our complimentary champagne and oysters for Valentines, Janet presented the most delicious valentines spread and from the general atmosphere we were not the only ones who thought so. Saturday night’s seafood extravaganza topped it all. We enjoyed the evening in the Pub with our hosts Sherwin, Judi, Gerhard and Lynette. The music entertainers kept the evening going for both the young and the old. Trevor's trails are a must, a long but enjoyable walk to the wreck. I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel. Thank you to all our amazing hosts for making this a truly unforgettable Valentines weekend!

My wife and I have recently returned from a 4 night stay over at Trennerys.

The Manager and his whole team were extremely helpful and attentive through out our stay.

The Pub and verandah was a venue to meet other guests and interesting conversations
about different walks and events were swopped.

The food was wholesome and more than sufficient.

A special evening with a Valentine theme was introduced with Oysters and Champagne

followed by a fantastic dinner menu and a lot of extra work put into the decorations.

We will definately return and recommend to our friends and collegues.

The pont crossing is a very pleasant experience.I suggest however one phones in advance to check on the tides, as the pont may be restricted by low tides.

All in all an excellent stay,we met good people and found the whole experience very

relaxing.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted with friendly , happy, helpful management and staff... ...Trennerys is a fantastic family destination, and there is so much to see and do...
Beautiful sparkling pool, lush subtropical gardens, excellent cuisine, the seafood dinner was outstanding.... and access via the ferry across the Kei River makes Trennerys easily accessible for quick weekend getaway at a very affordable price......

One of the hotels you stay while hiking the Wild Coast. No view of the sea, nice garden, small pool, many birds, nice rondavels, good food and a good bar. Rooms clean but a bit old fashioned, overnight laundry service, little shop. Nice hiking trails around the area, Trevors trail is a boat cruise you can book there too.
