Just back from a wonderful few days away at Longleat Safari Park made extra special by our stay with Jacky and Ray at 'The Timbers'. A wonderful welcome and beautiful rooms with everything you could want and much more. The breakfasts were delicious and really filled you up for the day. Their information on the area was so helpful and the recommendations on where to eat in the evenings brilliant. Cant recommend the family suite enough. As a family of 5, having the children in an adjoining room was a wonderful idea and having our own key to come and go was great. The kids felt so relaxed there, so that resulted in happy parents! Cant wait to stay again. Jo & Michael and Kids.

Room Tip: If you are a family with 3 children the family suite is just what you need. Lots of places want you...

Beautiful place. Jackie was very welcoming, we enjoyed the rooms and it was very relaxing. Kids enjoyed it nice selection of movies for the kids. My first time back to Bath since i left in 1989. Breakfast was excellent we felt spoilt, table nicely laid out waiting for us. I would highly recommend it. Place would not have been hard to find if we didn't take wrong turn and used some small country roads. LOL. Thanks for waiting up for us.

This was a perfect stop with everything we needed to relax on a long road trip. A varied DVD selection, comfy bed, beautifully cooked breakfast and lively charismatic hosts. Just what you want from a B&B exerience. Also, generously accomodating to our requests. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Jacky & Ray were most helpfull in recommending and booking places to eat and visit.
The B&B was excellent and spotless. very good breakfast's.will definitely stay there again.
The directions given lead us straight to the door.
The B&B is not far from the park and ride for Bath.
PS. The Pump House in Bath afternoon tea is a must.

Jacky & Ray are such a friendly couple who go that extra mile to make your stay special.

We stayed for 3 nights from the 8th - 11th Sept 2012, the room was spotless and making it that extra special there were magazines, wine glasses, tumblers, box of tissues, big mugs, small mugs, Jacky & Ray have thought of everything.

It was my Fiance's 40th birthday and I asked Jacky if she would put some balloons and banners up in the room if I sent them to her, she was quite happy to do this for me, thank you.

Jacky and Ray are a wealth of information on places to visit etc.

Thank you both for making our stay an enjoyable one, you are perfect hosts and we look forward to visiting again and would not hesitate to recommend you to our friends.

We booked this trip at the last possible moment. When I spoke to Jakie after finding the website. From the start it was a warm reception, I felt really pleased to have spoken to her and booked straight away. After a full day we arrived at the timbers, when we saw our room and spoke to Jakie we felt we had really struck gold. Bothe Jakie and Ray went out of there way to help us, offering solid local advise, they deliverd us to a great eatery locally. After a long night we were ready to turn in, the room was great comfortable, clean, well set out with every amenity. It was a home from home. In the morning we came out for breakfast..... Well what a show all great quality ingredients with great care taken in the preparation and presentation. The service was great.
I have to say this will not be our last visit and we left there feeling special.
I fully recommend this venue to anybody, w could not have expected more from an expensive boutique hotel, not to mention the personal touch. Thank you Jakie and Ray
All the best Shan and Jem
