This farm-like setting, just near Florence suited us perfectly.
We arrived with a taxi and took a bus to Florence central- very regular busline, a 10 minute ride and tickets for the bus were provided us by the B&B-owner, we returned them the next day- very helpful. Water and wine in abundance and without any extra fee; the home-cooked meal was simple but fun for an evening.
The rooms are good, clean, air-con works well and all with a small cooler for drinks etc. We had a room with an upstairs that was nicely sized yet a little noisy (tile-floor). Breakfast very simple- no great breads, healthy fruits or extra's, but cookies, cake and on request some eggs will happily be made for you.
We choose to eat outside in a lovely restaurant overlooking florence, just a few miles away: osteria del milione, a very nice authentic restaurant- do ask for a place on the main terrace- preferably on the side with the view. Nice appetizers, easy BBQ food, but a long waiting line without reservation.
We rented a car to drive around in Tuscany (reserve online pickup in Florence saves 50% on car-rental).
