Now, I have to say that having toothache isn't the best basis for enjoying a meal, added to which we were the only diners, which doesn't help the atmosphere. The place is pleasantly decorated, the trattoria approach of surprising the guests with what the chef has bought that day was also fine. The food was prepared with care and tasted good but wasn't very exciting. So, all in all, a very pleasant change from the carnivorous experiences in many Tuscan restaurants but not stunning.
