We had a wonderful weekend in the honeymoon cabin. The weather was chilly so we enjoyed the indoor fireplace every night and found that it heated the cabin very nicely as well as creating a nice romantic atmosphere. We made use of the spa twice for massages and were really impressed with the treatment and facilities. As usual, the food was delicious and plentiful and we were really looked after by the staff. This was our 6th visit to Tsitsikamma Lodge and we love it just as much, every time we come back!

Stayed here for a conference. The cabins were comfortable and even in winter it was warm enough to sleep. The view from the front porch was lovely as was a walk in the pine forest. The hotel staff were very accommodating for our conference and the meals were very good. Overall a good experience.

Tired looking facility which needs an upgrade. Reception not overly friendly. Staff seems over-worked and tired. Carpets in unit were in need of a good wash, decor completely outdated. Not enough chairs for everyone inside the cabin. Extremely cold in winter, cannot use heater and geyser at same time. If they want to save on electricity as they requested, at least add a fireplace or a gas heater that will work much better. Small fridge and no microwave. Closest shop to buy food from is a good 70 - 80 km away. Plenty of farm style restaurants in area, so budget to eat out or buy at petrol station take-out five minutes away. Food at the restaurant not mind blowing for the price they charge: R155 per adult. I have eaten better for less. Will definitely not be returning, even with their specials. The highlights are however the beautiful trails, but there are many more outside the Lodge facility.

Room Tip: Rooms close to trails/forest entry are very close to N2 road. Not good if you are a light sleeper.

My mother and I stayed in this beautiful Lodge for 3 nights. Our cabin was located directly at the entrance to the trails. We had a spectacular view of the pine forest and the Tsitsikamma mountains surrounding us.
The home-cooked 5-course buffet dinner in the Log Restaurant is absolutely delicious! The service is outstanding.
I highly recommend this lodge to families, nature lovers and everyone looking for a great place to stop while traveling the Garden Route.

This was our first stop of our honeymoon!

What a great place! We stayed in the Delux honeymoon suit with a jacuzzi bath and a cozy fire place! The staff is so friendly and helpful! There is a spa on the premises and what a lovely place to treat yourself. We did a couples massage and it was so nice!

Then the food is 6 star! Wow its amazing!!! Breakfast and dinner is buffet style and in the evening you get a 5 course meal. Each night is a different menu to pick and choose from. Even the breakfast have different things to choose from. Oja and make sure you get Johanna as a waiter,
she's amazing and so friendly.

We will definitely go back!!!

Thanks a million Tsitsikamma Lodge

We will definitely go back.

Room Tip: Choose the delux honeymoon suit
