We are on our last night here sadly. It’s a wonderful hotel from checking in to going to breakfast all staff have been amazing. Make sure you use both happy hrs from 3-5 at the pool then 5-7 at the beach bar. Buy one get one free and boy they are nice.

Breakfast is fairly standard but lovely all the same. The gym is small but absolutely no problems you can work up a sweat there. Our room was a tropical room which was lovely. It’s about a 7 min walk to fisherman’s village which if you choose carefully you can find a few places doing happy hr. lunchtime round the pool there are excellent items for a meal like half a chicken and lovely corn on the cob all

Amazing location, lovely staff, great room, made our honeymoon super special.
Location is super close 5 minutes walk to fishermans village, great ammenities close by and restaurants as well as local markets.
Hotel is super clean, pools are lovely and break front location. All the staff are helpful and pleasant, and the hotel offers kayaking, wind surfing and paddle boarding.

Room tip: All rooms are in a great location, we opted for pool view

We Stayed at The Bandara for my Birthday week this January
Absolutely fantastic hotel right on the beach.
We had a beautiful large spacious room with a four poster bed and a great shower/wet room. Room 400
Maid service was outstanding as was restaurant service. Great swimming pools & bars.
Situated 6/7 minutes walk from Fisherman’s Village with lots of shops & restaurants. On Monday,Wednesday & Friday a massive market that lines the streets of Fisherman’s Village with lots of street food & live music. The only downside if it can be classed as one: As with all 4/5* hotels in the area prices at the hotel are very expensive compared to outside.

I am loath to leave negative feedback but feel clients need to be cautious of free upgrades!

Firstly the hotel, beaches, bar, restaurants and rooms are lovely! The hotel is only a ten minute walk from Fisherman’s village.

We booked the tropical room for 3 nights - prior to arrival I emailed to see if we could extend our stay and was advised that we could for the same price!

When we arrived we were advised that our room wasn’t available but we had been upgraded to the villas - whilst this was amazing when we tried to extend we were told there was no room but could stay in the upgrade for double the price we originally paid or downgrade to a deluxe room overlooking the main road.

On this basis we had to look for other accommodation which was a huge disappointment - the customer services weren’t interested in any conversations we had prior to arrival which put a dampener on our stay there!

We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed staying with us at Bandara Resort & Spa, Samui. We are sorry to hear we fell short on delivering a seamless stay experience on your recent visit. We do have tropical room available that time but since you asked us if you could have the same room which is VILLA we kindly inform you that there will be an extra charge as we would like to offer some chance to other guests as well. But this doesn't mean we will use this as an excuse, we accept that there is a miscommunication & misunderstanding during that time. My sincere apologies these areas left you feeling somewhat disappointed of an otherwise pleasant family vacation. I apologize foremost and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the future. Once again I would like to thank for your constructive comments and hope you will consider staying with us again during your next visit to Koh Samui and experience the corrections done. Thank you once again for staying with us at Bandara Resort & Spa, Samui.

At the arrival at the lobby I was in love with this hotel .. it’s so huge and beautiful . But it was by night and my surprise by day a wonderful no 3 wonderful pools and a marvelous beach .. the breakfast is blowing my Mind and so yummy with so many choices . Pasta noodle potatoes eggs omelet pastries drinks of all kind sushi and so on . The staff is charming .. the free shuttle is so appreciate to go on tour at chaweng ..
i would definitely recommend you to stay there
