We arrived at the Hotel from Bangkok, we had booked one of the best rooms Beachfront Villa, it was very dated, but very clean and good location. Most of the rooms are not sea view. We opted for the beach BBQ on the Saturday night, which was a total disaster, despite having a full blown conversation with the Head Chef, no food arrived ! Complete disaster, food was of poor quality and lack of choice. Breakfast on the Sunday was very odd, just very limited selections, service was ok, but just the whole experience was not jelling, we decided to get a taxi and check out some other hotels, and decided to check out.

After a three week Asian tour, we were lucky to have four nights at Bo Phut Resort and Spa. The service was exceptional, the food great, setting lovely and the room fabulous. There is great attention to detail in every corner of the resort. The setting of the unit allow you a private space tucked away in a natural environment. The spa was wonderful and the staff was very professional. We enjoyed the Island tour. The resort was helpful in arranging a day to the nearby marine park as well.

My husband and I went here for my 50th birthday. The hotel made my birthday really special. It is a real gem this hotel. It is very tranquil. The staff are so helpful and all have constant smiles. I had a facial and it was amazing. The beach is not busy so we spent most of our time there although there was always a free sunbed around the pool. We cannot wait to return. I would highly recommend this hotel, we didn't see a better one in the resort. We ate in fishermans village and didn't have a bad meal. Particularly enjoyed the Happy Elephant for thai food and the address restaurant for fish. If I had to pick a fault it would be that March is extremely humid and hot, it peaked over 40 most days. even the locals were saying how hot it was, so maybe there is a better month to visit. We have had holidays all over the world and this was certainly by far one of the best!

As soon as we set foot at Bophut Resort and Spa we were overwhelmed by the welcome , beauty , quality and tranquility if the place .
An oasis of manicured gardens and beautiful rooms have an exceptional attention to details .
Big enough to give you your own space but small enough to make you feel home .
You never wait for anything , no queues for breakfast , a table when you want it and a pool lounger always free when you want it .
From the so pleasant manager to all team members at both restaurants , the reception ,the beach and at the spa , the attention is present at all time , constantly caring but with discretion , a kind friendly smile and attentive to your needs even before you thought of dreaming any .
We did visit a couple of other hotels while there and must say none had this exceptional service .
Activities are there if you want them but without disturbing other guests , no loud deafening music either .
Everything here is calm and harmony .
As much as we would love this place to be our best kept secret we felt we owe it to them to write this review .
We wish everyone to enjoy it as much as we did , but please respect it and do not spoil it ...this place is precious and rare ...
A warm thank you to all at Bophut Resort and Spa from room 109 .
We cannot wait to be back .....

Very nice resort, well designed, clean, spacious rooms, nice toiletries, good breakfast.
The pool is very nice; there is a chlldren's or wading pool. The beach is fine; there is a limited number of sunbathing chair at the beach. In the morning the hotel offers a cold towel and a piece of fruit while sunbathing. Activities on the beach are very limited. Wind surfing is the most exciting one. Ask for instruction on the days it is offered. Not much else is going on. Breakfast is fine. Pancakes made to order quite good as are fried rice or noodles with (only two) shrimp.
On Monday night small reception offered by the management. It is fine. The resort charges for that transfer from and to the airport (600 B each way).It is not far to walk to the Fishermen's Village where there are some decent restaurants and, on Saturday night, a market selling food, drink etc. outdoors. There is also an OK restaurant right in front of the hotel. Spa is very expensive. You can find similar service elsewhere along the street facing the hotel. Overall, a good choice. Most of all it is clean, even though bedsheets and towels looked a bit frayed and old.

Room Tip: If you have money to spend, reserve a private villa with dipping pool. Otherwise a garden room will...

We came to the Bo Phut Resort & Spa following a tour of mainland Thailand, seeking R&R .....and it was everything we wished for. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at this hotel, the postion, surroundings and wonderful staff made this a memorable visit. Nothing is too much trouble and there is a lot of attention to detail. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a secluded villa as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, a lovely suprise...they had even made us a cake! The food is of a high standard with both the poolside restaurant and another restaurant within the grounds, The owners of the hotel also have two restaurants in 'Fishermans Village', walking distance from the Hotel. We ate at one of them, at a table on the beach at Krua Bophut...fab, very romantic. The management really make an effort and there are various events scheduled during the week, dining on the beach, lobster night, cocktail party and a complimentary 3 hour tour of Koh Samui. The pool and the beach are excellent and the pool staff can't do enough for you, especially if you are like us and require plenty of shade, they ensured we were well protected by moving the parasol regularly. Plus....cold towels and mango around noon.
As previously mentioned 'Fishermans Village' is a short distance from the hotel, with lots of excellent eating places and market stalls & vendors, try the coconut ice cream.
The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and very well maintained. The whole place has an air of peace and tranquility.
We cant wait to go back!

Room Tip: Our bungalow was superb, but I would imagine that all the rooms here are excellent, the room service...
