Our stay at Go Samui was great, it was close to the night life (chaweng beach) as we were able to rent scooters to get around. They do not have a kitchen so you will have to go out for breakfast. Its close the beaches and the swimming pool is amazing. The room walls are a bit thin, I could hear our neighbours laughing and showering in the evening. The rooms are very clean, the aircon is great. Had a cold shower one morning. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

My friends and I stayed in the family suite on the 3rd floor. It was generally spacious but with 1 toilet only. No much privacy with the toilet door. Everyone can hear what the person is doing inside the bathroom. Room is pretty old. You have to request to make up room every morning or latest before 4pm because they don't make up the rooms automatically and the cleaner ends work around 4pm. As our room is just beside the street and above the family mart, it was very very noisy 24/7. You can't have a good night sleep.

Staff are very friendly. One is them (the bigger size guy) is extremely helpful and knowledgeable which makes our stay very pleasant despite the hotel being a disappointment.

Room Tip: Choose another hotel for your stay.

Went to Go Samui on last February and check into this Hotel for stay in main action location. I will not say is brilliant location but sufficient for people would like to go on budget but decent hotel. One thing I would like to comment on it will be spacious room that we have from Go Samui. All the amenities is within walking distance, restaurant, convenience stores and massage parlor.
But the pool was little bit disappointed, too small for the family to chill in the pool.

The only adverse comment will be the front office is not informative enough. I expect staff can share around the main attraction and converse basic English language. Hope it will better, if I gg to stay there again.

Room Tip: Please ask for highest floor if you travel as couple but ask for lower floor for family check in.

Excellent hotel, rooms are large and clean and the location is reasonable. It is a bit of a hilly walk to and from Chaweng Centre about 1.5km however if you walk along the beach it is much quicker.

This is not a resort hotel or somewhere you want to stay in every day, there is no bar or restaurent but it is very comfortable and extremely good value for money. Our travels took us to Samui, Krabi, Phi Phi and Patong, this hotel was the cheapest we stayed in but bar the Phi Phi one was similar to the others for half the price.

Reception staff were nice enough but their English wasn't good, it was easy enough to get by though.

Local Area

The other side of the hotel there is a row of small shops so you can always get drinks/snacks.

There is a taxi rank just outside the hotel however the Songathew's are much more frequent and the going rate to Chaweng centre is 50THB per person. Tax you are looking at 200THB pp which is good for returning at night when the songathews are more expensive.

Beward of the moped hire place just round the corner, we hired from them for two days and they ripped us off with the petrol and were getting ready to say we scratched the mopeds (we certainly did not) however our saving grace is we promised to book a trip with them so they 'let us off' damage we did not do!

We stayed 5 nights in the Go Samui hotel with our 2 teenage daughters. We had the family suite, which was two rooms with twin beds in one room and a king sized bed and lounge in the other The room was spacious and comfortable. We were disappointed to find there was no tea making facilities in the room.but after talking to the front desk clerk, he came up with a kettle and cups. The pool was very good and they also have a room with a table tennis table. The hotel is located on the outskirts of Chaweng and whilst it is within a reasonable walking distance to the main Chaweng area, with the condition of the roads, the lack of lighting and the hills between, it is probably more practical to catch a taxi or TukTuk. There are some very nice restaurants around the hotel and the beach is only a short walk away. I would stay there again.
