If in Samui over the weekend we found that the Fisherman’s Village Walking Street was very pleasant way to spend the evening. It is only held on a Friday night and is worth the visit. Fisherman’s Village has a reputation for being the “it” place on Koh Samui and it really rocks on a Friday night. Full of great street venders hawking a variety of different items ranging from vintage clothes to hand made jewelry and nick knacks. The food stalls that spring up paired with the nice restaurants in the area, you will not be left feeling hungry. There are cocktails that are served on the street, so no need to be without a drink in your hand either. Near The Pier they have impromptu shows, which are quite entertaining and typically Thai. The downside is that it can get quite busy and if you are not into the hustle and bustle I would suggest that you either go early or late.
