Villa accommodation is top quality, and very private. Great breakfast served daily to your villa, and onsite restaurant has good choice of food to meet all tastes. Lovely infinity pool and pool bar where you can watch the sun set in comfortable style. Staff are very polite and respect your privacy at all times.
One of the best places I have stayed at in a long time. Aside from the newer accommodations and serene setting, Tango Luxe had the most amazing service and staff.
If you have travelled Thailand you will come to expect great service from almost everyone in the service industry so it really says something when a venue can wow relative to all the other great service you can become accustomed to.
A special mention to the hospitality/restaurant manager YaYa who truly went above and beyond for us and no request was too much!!
Bed - comfortable and large
A/C - perfect
Rooms - the villa style was amazing and the two bedroom one with your own pool (Pudina room) was perfect for two couples as it gave you a great common area outside while providing maximum privacy between rooms
Amenities - sparse (just a pool, restaurant and bar) but very well run
Spa service - ask for Amp if you like a firm and deep massage. She is incredible
Food - delicious
Service - They helped us arrange everyone from scooters to a yatch day and every time it was exceptional service and great prices.
Location - 5 min from the golden Buddha and a short scooter ride to everything.
Some cons include
- tub is huge and amazing but hot water doesn’t last enough to fill it up
- Breakfast is included and tastes great but the coffee is usually cold
- No real beachfront to lounge in the sand on
Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking for a private, comfortable and full service stay.
Everything, the room decoration, the staff, the swimming pools. A perfect location to set and enjoying the sunset behind the Big Buddha while airplanes are landing in the airport. Stuff were very nice and helpful. Room was very spacious, and well equipped with everything you need. Many temples are walking distance from the hotel. Kayaks are available free of charge. Other island attractions are between 5 to 15 min drive.
If one thing I would improve it would be to add a heater for the Villa Pool, it would be perfect if the pool water was worm.
I will start with the good points. The two bedroom villa is great. Great decor (although ageing now.. ripped curtains etc) Cleaning fine (although late in the day due to its position) and staff friendly. View from pool is great and it’s huge ... good pool )but shady .. but that’s where it ends for us.
Having stayed in several 4 and 5 star resorts in Koh Samui, Phuket Bangkok and Krabi over the last ten years this doesn’t measure up. Sorry ..
The staff are lazy. Will watch you pull your own sun lounger topper to the beds - (theirs are wet because they didn’t take them indoors when it was heaving it down with rain) without offering help - and look vacant if you ask for more towels ..
The bar staff are good but their English so limited it’s hard to explain anything .. however friendly and try hard
Sea. ??? There is Nooooo sea. A view maybe at sunset but you can’t swim. It’s a muddy rock strewn mess. Fine if you just want a pool in the grounds but don’t describe the sea if it’s a whirlpool of soggy mud and barnacles. Nice sunset view but you are not going to be swimming in it !!! No where on the site does it say the sea is brown, rock strewn and just generally awful! (Even to look at!)
Breakfast ... once they understand you (quite hard). You may get what you ordered .. hot milk with tea? They just don’t have any proper training .. in the big hotels (4/5*) I would expect everyone to know tea is served with cold milk .. or maybe this is an English thing!? Everything else Luke warm .. or cold. Maybe the distance (ours furthest cabin) .. but disappointing again bit of a waste as most sent back each day
Can I just say I am NOT picky. We travel a lot. There were other issues - staff with facial bleeding sores serving food and drink! Honestly this is a real no no. If they are not well put them somewhere else until they are better NOT front of house this is quite off putting
Could be so much better if the staff were not so lazy .. Some were ok but in the majority happy to sit and watch you ..
We stay in great places every year. This year it was just not so great. Could be better but the staff need training in customer service and the manager needs to be far more pro active. Uniforms not clean etc. it’s just the whole ‘look’ I would say is the issue here
The weather was rubbish and not the hotels fault but this just highlighted the issues ..
I hate writing negative reviews but just found this place so disappointing in comparison to other hotels at a similar price we have stayed at previously

Starting from the begging, the response to the email was fast with no delay. We spend 6 days in this villa , they pick us up from the airport to the hotel with no delay , the reception was excellent , the room service was good , the stuff were friendly and cooperative. They helped us with arrangements for out trip in koh samui . We asked for romantic dinner which was amazing from the arrangement of the table till the foods . I recommend my friends to visit tango luxe villa. Best holiday in best place with my lovely wife ❤️❤️☺️🌹. We don’t say goodbye we say we will be back again .🙏🏻🙏🏻☺️
